Gent's we could probably carry this on all day, we all want the same thing, a higher AVN share price! We're all diff investor's/trader's and guess that's what makes the market, would be boring otherwise! Have a cracking weekend all and here's "hoping" for a cracking set of result's on Monday.

NEVER, that is a strong word. I invested in Encore at 25p held it for ages. In the credit crunch it went down to 8p. I bought more at 9p and 10p. It went up to £1.50. I sold before the top at £1.12 & £1.35.

Good job I didn't follow your rule.

It was trading at less than it's cash in the bank with 2 drills carried. There are always exceptions.

I think AVN will be a good investment for long term holders. I'm not interested in short term movements. What will the share price be in 5 years. That is what matters to me.

I'm not saying AVN is going to 0, hell if it was i'd be out, risk management is the name of the game and it's getting close to the point of assessing this risk, "hope" is not a strategy. Assessing this risk when all u see is "It's going higher, higher higher" is not without bias and so you will never be able to assess. I don't ramp, deramp and trade what I see, either of these trait's is very dangerous for your pocket-----always remain impartial regardless of whether u r invested or not.

Anyway here's to £9 by this Xmas and £21 by next Xmas? There, is that better?

Oh and btw don't get too excited by this morning's action, no one has tapped the offer above 353.

MMs very clever this morning, results expected Monday and the hot cash who want in/out are being kept on tenterhooks by that rip off spread!

Rogk i'm in at the mo (average 368) so I have nothing to gain from wanting it to go lower! I'm not overly concerned but will be stopped out if it drops much below 340, my argument is there's always 2 sides and calling us "Fools" and "You are gonna lose" ---- chill out, we're not boxing! "Greed" --- what u doing this for, charity?!

Rogk u forgotten the -20% decline (the so called "a few % on low volume indicative of anything" from the top of 350p?) U look at fundamental's I look at TA, but ultimately Price pay's and it's paying nowt at the mo.

There is no argument the share price movement does cause one to wonder if someone knows something we don't.
