I am out too at 318 with about 20% profit in less than a week. If it drops to around £3, I will jump in again. However, I am aware I may not get a chance.

I just hope they don't release a contract win and put the kybosh on the price rise! :)

Still aways from break even for me but starting to look a lot healthier now.

I was just thinking the same thing rajaster. Looks like my pre-launch timing was only about one month too early. Always nice to catch the bottom, with conviction......... ;)

I doubt it they didn't make any such announcement when it was being shorted and falling rapidly.

There is every reason why is should be rising !

In view of the action in the past couple of days its not impossible the Co. could make an announcement on the lines of;

The Co. knows no reason etc ...

or otherwise.

They are extraordinary moves considering there is no apparent reason.

Great uptrend and breakout in place now - not selling any of mine with these in an up trend.

Seen these rise 20-340% in a couple of days on many occasions and there' going to be a lot wanting in when these are in an up trend imo.

all imo/dyor etc.

it would appear that the Hylas-2 launch may now be July at the earliest.

Ariane Flight VA206 is the next to go, scheduled for 15 May.

then VA207 (see link below) follows that scheduled for 19 June.



or are we going on a Soyuz medium-lift which has a different launchpad ?

What has changed? The fact that the Prudential has built up a 20% stake has caught the attention of other fund managers and has put the company back on the corporate (rather than retail) radar. There is no way the Pru would have increased its stake from 10% to 20% without carrying out an in-depth review and risk-anyalysis of the the business, and this would have invovled numerous discussions with management and other shareholders. They are in it for the long term....and so their 20% holding has been 'removed' from market liquidity, unpderpinning the price. Other fund managers are going to find it difficul (impossible) to get a sizeable position in this company without forcing the price quickly up....

All very positive indeed and gives the company failrly instant creditability and visibility on fund managers' (and acquirers) shopping lists. of course, all this needs to be underpinned by real returns....but the fact that the Pru has bought to such a level suggests they are very confident this will be evidenced.

volume is on the low side. I hope the appearance of AVN on the "fast mover" lists may encourage some more buyers in to sustain the momentum.

I can see this moving to 450 before launch. Look at the rally last time, and that didnt have all the shorts closing out. May easily re trace, but hopefully this rally will now be sustained

the spread on this share is often very tight, frequently right down to 0.25p, so I wouldn't use that as an indicator of either momentum or direction.

what's causing the surge is probably the launch coming up, as I've been told traders move in to shares on this sort of event several weeks ahead.

anyway it's nice to ride the wave and let's hope it doesn't stop too soon.
