1976YOL,

You registered on 31/1/2012 and you have posted 14 posts all on AVN and all knocking AVN and David Williams.

So would you like to explain,

1. Why your interest ?

2. What your motives are ?

3. Why you wish to spend your time posting about a company run by a man you have no respect for ?

4. A company you would appear to have no interest in investing in ?

Finally post 8145 you suggest you hold shares :

"It started to make me nervous about my holding, I thought Fastnet Broadband were supposed to be a good Avanti contract, but if they can't pay this fella's wages, how will they pay Avanti's £5 million?"

5. Why would you post every post negative about AVN if you hold surely the logical thing would be to sell ?

That's what I was trying to do restassured!

Yes, it's a five year old contract, but it was worth £5 million, so Avanti
should have that cash by now?

Over the last 5 years there have been hundreds of these contracts sent out
as press releases, and I'm just wondering why there isn't more cash coming
in?

I'm just a bit nervous about how many dishes there are, installed, and
receiving data (and how much) - because who is going to pay up for the
service until then?

So I started looking back further and noticed what happened to Screenmedia,
and there was a similar pattern, lots of revenue booked against brilliant
looking contracts, but no cash came in and lots of bad debts started to
appear, and with Hylas 2 and 3 we seem to be restarting the pattern. When
will HYLAS 1 make any hard cash is all I want to know, because it only have
15 years of operational lifetime?

If HYLAS 1 is a busted flush, then AVN still has a lofty market cap for a
jam tomorrow set up...I need more visibility on expected breakeven.

Avanti at the Master Investor event is a pleasant surprise, they wouldn't normally be at a public event like this so the fact that they've decided to meet and talk to (assuming someone from AVN is going to be there) small shareholders suggests (to me) that things are going well.
I wonder if EK will visit their stand for tea and biscuits ?

Yorgi , i'd like to be there myself but i can't justify the expense .

Where did you read that AVN would be at the master investor event, they're not normally very keen to do that sort of thing.

the financial updates are every halfyear based on end-June, end-Dec.

a quarterly trading update for the intervening quarters is not obligatory or guaranteed, but I have a high expectation of getting one this year as we did last year. it may well be released at the same time as another piece of news.

AVN is not the most communicative of companies but I see good reason right now for it to want to put out any good news it has.

of course, if the news isn't good - and there was a hint that Hylas-1 sales are not as fast-paced as for Hylas-2 - then silence may provide its own message.

I see that but we didn`t have one in Feb last year and I really can`t see any reason to have another update two months after the last one unless something special has occurred which isn`t included in an rns.
However,any news providing it`s positive would be welcomed.
