16/2/2012 12:28 | Whoops , Bloomberg suggest it was a closed market (for us mere mortals). | nugacity
16/2/2012 12:23 | yorgi bear and boo boo? You just know that as soon as you sell there will be an inordinate spike and you will have missed the boat after all that mooring up. Top up , buy some moor , and it will continue drooping :O) TD Direct never contacted me about the placing - as far a I remember. I do get a lot of spam so may have missed it. SXX had a window of a few hours for a select group of potential buyers, but AVN looks to be a free for all? Should I be worried if Richard Branson's trips to the moon are so cheap out competitors in the future will just give a passenger a satellite to throw out the window :O) | nugacity
16/2/2012 12:22 | Very risky .... looks like it wants the 150p-220p range . | ![]() janyboy9
16/2/2012 12:15 | Not a dog, just the promised land may take a bit longer.May have to wait for full year results as launch of H2 is already a given. edit-25% dilution still has to be factored in. | blue forever
16/2/2012 12:09 | Hope it is a complete dog - heads up and it has a moveable tail! Dock the tail and it won't move far! | nugacity
16/2/2012 11:28 | Added at 2.63 already in profit. This must be the bottom - I hope. | ken298
16/2/2012 11:05 | Congrats on that sg31. Why not open an account with IG Index? You don't pay CGT on spread betting gains. Looks a bit low here. | ![]() shanksaj
16/2/2012 10:48 | hpcg, I had the same thought. If they want to take it lower this is probably the last chance before we start getting news flow about the launch. Long term holders can just sit on their shares and maybe pick a few more up. I would be a buyer at this point but I can't free up any money until the next financial year without paying CGT at the 28% rate. It does cramp your flexibility. | ![]() sg31

15/2/2012 20:39 | Blackberry Drop, It would be great news if the financials were present and you are correct STM are a great firm as are Hughes. You have to look at the way the pr is focused. A year ago it was all around military and working through resellers now not a mention of it. Maybe that's because the resellers were pushing tooway. Don't get me wrong having a stake in Avanti makes me look at the PR closely. It's not hard to see that it looks like PR reaching. | ![]() 1976yol
15/2/2012 15:55 | can we assume that the trades today are all sells rather than the shown buys?? anyone | ![]() jonnib
15/2/2012 15:44 | Megabear Last week's interim report gave a breakdown in areas of slowness for current sales. The overall picture on HYLAS 2 was that they were reducing targeted achievement of sales capacity from 5 to 4 years because sales interest is so strong. They also remind us that they are not having to reduce prices to get new business. You probably have to think a bit between the lines for what's hinted at in the interim report. A pointer would be that HYLAS 2 covers an area including the Middle East and Africa. There's also a government out there with a huge budget looking to reduce its military boots on the ground. Mmmmm ........ | ![]() aa29
15/2/2012 14:30 | Just noticed that the consensus sales forecast for this year has been cut from £27m to £24m and consensus sales cut by £5m for next year. Shouldn't momentum be going the other way? | megabear
15/2/2012 12:05 | Oops - Just realised I posted up the wrong info earlier. Daniel Stewart have actually reduced their target from £25.25 to £20.52... 15 Feb Avanti... AVN Daniel Stewart Buy Price 278.50 Old target 2,525.00 New target 2,052.00 Reiterates | ![]() someuwin
