15/6/2011 10:45 | TW growth fund must be suffering at the moment, these are going down the pan, can see capitulation then when shorters meet their targets and go long, a huge bounce, watch and wait, could be a great opportunity here for the patient. | ![]() malcolmmm
15/6/2011 10:43 | It is a pity they look at the older role models.Men with zero self esteem that have literally eaten themselves to an early grave. Still, I won't be shedding any tears. Au contraire. | ![]() restassured

15/6/2011 09:22 | Can't see SC doing that sort of thing, but I do think these have been driven down by apparent disinformation used by some institutions to justify shorts, they seem not to adhere to the spirit of fincial law using bad analyses to avoid prosecution imo. I sold some time ago but am looking to buy when sanity prevails.Am into PHTM what a great company, there will be a big juicy div, INTQ ,doing better than and still at 40% discount to MOSS and GLOBO also TEP another great company | ![]() malcolmmm

14/6/2011 18:13 | Tracey McDermott, FSA acting director of enforcement and financial crime, said: 'The FSA views market manipulation extremely seriously. Alexander's behaviour was deliberate and repeated over a significant period of time. He sought to conceal his trading and made substantial profits at the expense of the firms which allowed him to trade with them.' FSA, look into Simon Cawkwell's dealings!! | ![]() restassured
14/6/2011 11:53 | the chart seems to be making a base around 400p. let's hope some further news can help us kick off and get us up to 500p. the fundamentals haven't really changed, despite all the shorting and the general weakness of market sentiment. unless these change, and there is as yet no reason to believe they will, then the share price should rise again, sooner or later. whether they will make £25 or not I don't know, but I reckon £10 is certainly achievable (even this year), and £15 looks reasonable too. | ![]() backmarker
14/6/2011 11:46 | Apparently we are also being shorted by Absolute Insight Fund Management Group according to a post on the iii board. We`re going to need a stonking announcement to pull us up,I think. | blue forever
14/6/2011 11:43 | knowsleyman, I think there may actually be a lot more shareholders than that. I use Barclays for my dealing, and they hold my shares in a nominee account. so all AVN holders via Barclays will be represented as 1 shareholder, viz Barclays Nominees. I believe several other stockbrokers do exactly the same. so the number of "real" shareholders of AVN may be quite a bit larger. | ![]() backmarker
14/6/2011 08:14 | Definately one to tuck away for the pension. 2013 they are forecast to be making aound £40 million profit 2014 they are forecast to be making over £100 million profit 2015 almost £200 million profit. 2016 £260 million profit 2017 £300 million profit. Average contract length Hylas 1 = 7.3 years. Hylas 2 = 4.3 years and growing So they have very good visibility. Current market cap just £330 million. | ![]() restassured

13/6/2011 16:15 | It makes much more sense for a company like this to be in private hands. They can get on with running the business and not be distracted by the share price volatility. It has a Terra Firma written all over it. | ![]() restassured
13/6/2011 15:29 | Its not so long ago (probably less than 12 months) that there were only 800 shareholders. | colva
