31/5/2011 10:28 | SP waking up now, we have a long way to go but this could well now be the beginning of our recovery in share price which is long overdue. | ![]() yorgi
31/5/2011 08:08 | Timing is everything lol. | ![]() volvo
31/5/2011 07:07 | A good start to the week which should help with the recovery in AVN's totally oversold share price | ![]() yorgi
30/5/2011 20:26 | Africa is "exploding" with opportunities investment in fibre-optic telecommunications infrastructure will propel rather than impede demand for satellite services. | ![]() blender
30/5/2011 09:59 | couple of good finds there. It would appear that the shorters seem to have disappeared and more positive contributions are appearing here. A good sign. Nothing has changed with the avanti story. I firmly believe that within a couple of years this share price will be condierably higher otherwise I would have sold out a while back. I have 5000 of these and have taken a hit since january but i convinced myself that absolutely nothing had changed just a period of consolidation and when the directors continued to buy it gave me confidence to wait out the downturn. Heres to a much more profitable 6 months! Superg...whatever your motives were please do not bring up other posters being nasty to you again it makes us all believe you are/were part of the short brigade. That said its good to see you being positive!! | ![]() jonnib
29/5/2011 23:09 | Commercial satellite and space firms are hoping the Pentagon's increasingly tight budgets will translate into more business as military officials seek faster and cheaper options | ![]() blender
29/5/2011 08:18 | Superg, are you italian? Never seen such a rapid retreat. Confidence is definitely building here. The fat one's not been heard for a while, if he doesn't return soon with a new reason for these to falter, I expect a very strong bounce. | ![]() cancun tango
28/5/2011 19:06 | Couple of weeks could be too late imo. Good luck anyhow. | ![]() volvo
28/5/2011 11:07 | Good bounce today, lets hope it's maintained and the shorters get out. best of luck Volvo as in the PDX case if all is on track and OK it will have. Hopefully you have picked the bottom. Might buy some myself but still waiting for a trigger on my main investment. That should be off and running within a couple of weeks. | ![]() superg1
27/5/2011 20:10 | VOLVO - 27 May'11 - 11:27 - 5776 of 5796 edit FWIW a broker at Brewin Dolphin says there is a seller in the market at 400p. Nothing operational whatsoever, but someone who bought at 430p in the funding last year and who wants their cash out. Replacements are being organised. When completed the return to a more normal trading pattern, ie 500p plus is expected. Bought today at average 384p. Please dyor. | ![]() volvo
27/5/2011 19:04 | CR I posted earlier, indeed it is going to rise and fast. | ![]() volvo
27/5/2011 15:56 | Double bottom here? | ![]() cockneyrebel
27/5/2011 15:54 | I was over on POG and there was a note that Daniel Stewart had raised their AVN target to 2519p from 1111p. Is this old news, or has someone got the details? | ![]() rogerbridge
27/5/2011 14:36 | Thanks Gorv Much the same as I posted. Judging by the initial web page content re Scotland. I presume that is the Scotish section on The AVN website, which on the AVN website is no longer available. Dougie I'm only in one share and I know that one back to front. Someone tipped Avanti so I looked. If it's going to be £25 in the near future I'm not so stupid to ignore it. One share is not ideal but I've researched it to death so I'll live or die on that one. Highly confident though However I can't find answers just more smoke. When the smoke clears (if there is any) I'll buy in. But to me it seems AVN may be struggling on the household front and Eutel are cornering that market. It seems AVN's drive will be businesses. But that wasn't the initial plan. When I asked the Tooway site re the pro bb. there was alot of umming and erring about performance and cost. As and when results/ RNS's come out it will be more clear. | ![]() superg1
27/5/2011 14:04 | Superg1 This company has prices for both. | gorvachof
27/5/2011 13:41 | superg i just dont understand why someone with no vested interest in a company either way wuold continue to spend so much time researching and spreading false rumours-why waste your time why not concentrate on those companies where your going to put your money where your mouth is. iam in Avanti for the long term-i can see the bigger picture and have been taking this bear raid to top up at levels a missed last year. i wouldnt want to get caught in a short squeeze on this one when market updates come | dougie471
27/5/2011 13:34 | From the Avanti webpage I can only see Northern ireland 512kb £25.54 Per month 1mb £42.30 2mb download speed £50.40 per month. 3mb £70.50 per month Or via Tooway (eutels sat) 6mb download speed £25 per month 8mb £45 per month. 512kb to 2mb is what we get anyway for area's that you haven't got cable. Avanti's version looks slow and expensive in comparison. 2mb AVN £50.40. 3 times the speed via tooway is £25. Forgive me if I'm missing something. I can only go on the Avanti website and contact with the Tooway sales team. Tooway service goes live in 4 days time. | ![]() superg1
27/5/2011 13:26 | Bought a chunk today. | ![]() someuwin
27/5/2011 13:04 | PB Yes I am looking for a buy in point. GG or others. I thought this concept was to capture the millions of rural households that can't get decent BB. Tooway covers the likes of Rural households (Eutel) up and running from 31st May. The pro version (for businesses) is the Avanti satellite. Is there another service provder that is covering the Avanti home user version? | ![]() superg1
27/5/2011 13:01 | Oh I'm quite sure you will get that Pbracken, I confident your hat is safe :-) | ![]() yorgi
27/5/2011 12:55 | Well, I've bought a shed load today. And if I don't flog 'em for 450p I'll eat my hat... | pbracken |
