Weatherman - The past points to the future, in this case, Simon Cawkwell has been proved correct in his opinion of David Williams. So, I would argue you must look to the past as a guide to the future, this includes reading historical RNs because these will demonstrate how well or how badly the company is run. Now, if you have done this, you have to ask why AVN have demonstrated a history of failure, where debts have grown, capacity and sales have NOT met company forecasts and revenue accounting has questions that need answers; all this points to AVN running out of cash, possibly as early as June 2017, thus will need to raise new funds IF it as history has demonstrated, a failure to meet company forecasts, and with bonds now at 24% this is not look good at all.

As I thought Elrico you can't just hoping you weren't challenged. That says it all about you.

Why bang on about the past. Investment is about the future.

tomshunter - you have already been rumbled. I am not here to defend anyone, why should I? However, I will try if you confess and identify your previous pseudonyms, you know, the constant 3 you use to tick yourself up. Do you think we are stupid...OK, you have me, there are a few AVN investors that prove the latter.

The bulls divert attention from avanti debt mountain, the extremely unlikely event they can get even a deeply discounted funding away, published fraudulent comments, a ceo selling 2mill worth of share days after ramping them at their height claiming theyre worth 25 quid, creating the illusion he is a buyer with a mere 100k from his 2million fat wad, failed business model, five years of missed targets, cooked books and here we are slagging off a tipster that may have a ify history on the long calls, but the bears call have a far better record and that is for all to see on shareprophets.

Go ahead, buy as many avanti shares as you can, the bears will be hear to remind you you balls it all up. Oh and tomshunter, why would anyone in the right mind engage with someone who registered another id just to slag someone off and try to trash another thread. Michealmouse has already tried and failed with the same tactic.

Another gem from Tom

Even funnier than the last one. Trojanpony do you really think this man from blithering fool can have changed to be such an expert on investments. The video clips don't lie the words of a complete fool. No ifs and buts plain facts.

I hate that out of very minimal interaction in forums that I find myself defending TW again.
There are some phrases that are intrinsic to share dealing: past performance is not an indicative of future results is one, dyor is another. For whatever reasons TW was a spectacular failure as a fund manager, this does not invalidate everything he says now. Just like every bit of information, treating his output with a healthy dose of scepticism is wise, ignoring it is careless.
Now of course it's your own choice but as an investor who cares about their money I want to assess my position based on as many sources and opinions as possible. I am here to make money. This is not a football team, I am not a supporter to cheerleader this share. If it's heading for relegation I'm going glory hunting and switching scarves.

For all his off putting personality if you listen to what he says about avn it is a reasoned bear case based on poor fundamentals and a questionable approach to the truth. I'm not going to follow him (or anyone) blindly but if someone is talking sense I'm not disregarding a broken clock all day.

Thank you JakNife, the statement of whoever is working the order is doing a damn fine job is an understatement. Something is going to have to give in servicing the mountain of debt, surely this will need to be addressed, bond holders are hardly in a great position so ordinary equity are right in it ..........

JK - For months now I have been pointing out the AM spike only for the share to finish in negative territory. That has reversed, to a degree the past couple of weeks. Someone is selling in to the rise created by fudged reporting by AVN.

Estienne - I think JK was referring to the BS a newly joined poster infesting the BB with out of date news about TW, which is factually inaccurate and old news. JK posted a new up to date link, quite pertinent to AVN, but not favourable for the bull cause. If I were a holder of AVN and were not aware of the content of the link, I would be gravely concerned and very thankful I found out now rather than later. But that's just me, I guess.

It was you who first posted about TW, Share prophets and the UK Investor show.
You shouldn't be surprised at the reaction to this bunch of charlatans.

JakNife are you thinking it is further institutional selling, if so surely the share price would be hammered ?

sounds like another tool got suckered and looking to point the blame at tw and his merry band of shorters. Why dont anyone blame the fat taffy fraud? It seems we are ok with fraud and save our anger at the people trying to uncover it, you know, the people trying to save your money not cream off you. FFS wake up!
