Thanks but it's not that, I'm aware of that problem. Up comes a list of trade magazines, excluding the relevant magazine... Or am I being stupid?

BTW good to see that Avanti put out a press release about Bentley-Walker's launch into South Africa. They describe it as a' multimillion dollar contract extension'

This is now confirmation of a 5th revenue-enhancing contract in less than 2 months!
Four of which represent entirely new money.

Beginning to think Jefferies's September forecast of £50.0m in revenue for FY14 is looking achievable.

Hi Wilksey and thanks. There does now seem to be more of a flow of positive news.

The Maxwell agreement with Avanti actually mentioned in post 845,

but as part of the JD Group rollout of Maxconnect. (dated 19-11-2013).

However Maxwell was certainly offering the Maxconnect prior to that date, but when exactly I'm not sure. The earliest reference I can find is October, but they didn't exactly broadcast it from the rafters. What is significant though is that Maxconnect represents a shift from Ku-band(SkyeMax) to Ka-Band for Maxwell.

So how big is Maxwell? That is rather difficult to work out, as they don't give figures as they are a subsidiary of Barnstone, a private South African Corp specialising in IT solutions. But Barnstone itself is not small, by any means, if you look at their list of clients, it includes just about every major player in SA.

hxxp://www.barnstone.co.za/our-clients

From what I can make out, Maxconnect is not an insignificant part of Barnstone though, having been around since 2007 and certainly being part of the Barnstone group helped them win that contract with JD group, the South African equivalent of Dixons. But what number of clients they have using the Ku-band which they can switch over is an unknown. Althought one example they have on their site is connecting the construction site of a major power station to broadband. More to the point perhaps, how much marketing clout are they putting into the Ka-band rollout for new clients is an unknown. I would guess it's not insignificant though as they have JD backing them.

One final point on Barnstone, they provide some interesting service solutions that could also be valuable connections for Avanti, such as MMS.

On following up on Bentley-Walker, it would seem that their South-African service using the Hylas-2 Sat. is now up and running.

hxxp://www.freedomsat.com/coverage/southafrica

Was a bit disappointed to see they are only using a beam to cover western SA though, rather than the whole country.

Lets hope the Bentley Walker service is as successful as their Libyian one. There, they hit the ground running and installed 2,000 dishes in the first year up to October!

hxxp://www.bentley-walker.com/featuredcountry/libya

Talking of which, took a cursory look at who their competitors and found that Speedcast, who are a bigger outfit than Bentley but only set up in May in Libya, could well be using Hylas 2, too. The footprint of the Satellite they are using exactly fits the Hylas-2 beam that Bentley is using over Libya! If true, it would make for the fourth provider in Libya after Atrexx, Sana and Bentley Walker in the last year, and the biggest so far!

hxxp://www.speedcast.com/technologies/279&Itemid=174

As a final note, I found it interesting that Speedcast deliberately avoids all mention of whom they are using, whereas previously they have openly said what satellites they have used in other regions, such as one of the Arabsats or Paksats.

(Edit: Did a search of Avanti's RNSes and can confirm Speedcast are using Avanti's Hylas 2 - slipped in one ref. in finals. )

Well I agree with him on one point; this will stand or fall on cash generation. With 2 sats up and running, there are now no excuses not to be hitting targets and at the next results we need to see some cash finding its way into the bank, not just "backlog".

Judging by the Tips Lucien must have a mate at Ennismore!

Also saying buy one minute and sell the next. Totally inconsistent IMHO.

Then if 260p breaks blue sky to 330p. Lots of traders will be wstching that as well as long term shareholders like us. If 330p goes then 400p levels in sight sfain and that's still well below the highs in the 600s range. I do not expect the highs to be seen again for some time as I think a few sets of really solid results need to be delivered to provide confidence.

Another attempt to break through 260p I think is on. As soon as it does go will be a nice sharp gap up.
