Certainly a long way to go yet. My largest holding. The only share I own which really does have its own rocket, and that hasn't even taken off yet.

Good luck.

sold 5000 of my holding at 450 this morning - not gone through on ADVFN though. Expect we'll see lots of buys appearing later as there must be something holding the price up.

Never thought I would see myself type this, but in all seriousness, '£5 by Christmas'

some good turnover today on the Plus market - perhaps people are buying in anticipation of the news re funding etc of the second and bigger satelite?

Three new projects announced today!

Looks like Avanti is becoming a major player.

GECR:

It is worth noting that the resultant 718p per share valuation includes nothing for the company's orbital licences, which have a clear value to industry competitors. Indeed, Avanti's attractiveness was highlighted in February when the company confirmed it had received an unsolicited preliminary approach regarding a possible offer for the company. This was rejected, with the board stating they believe Avanti "has excellent prospects as an independent group". With the shares at 385p we agree and, with a current target price of 718p, our stance is buy.

£7 short term price target - where else do you get growth like that with asset backing ?

Thanks ZZZ. Interesting reading, and may have been responsible for the movement today. I'm just a little concerned about the way UK Analyst's targets have varied over such a short period of time.

terryebby - Very good link thanks - Not through all of it yet but David Williams is coming across very well and his ambitious plans should be commended. I always like to see good management - Ticks this box for me. Thanks again.

Thank you terryebby - my question was more related to maintaining the satellite in position, maintaining communication and controlling the up and down flow.
I presume there is an earth control which must have running costs - please excuse my ignorance.

cost of maintenance is nil - you cant send a repair man into space, thats why it takes so long to build, they have tyo make sure it will definitely last 15 years even if bits wear out !

Just keep putting 10p's in the anti-gravity meter and you'll be OK
