08/6/2007 09:19 | "Two of the Group's key objectives are to double annual turnover to #25m by 2010 and raise net profit margins. These interim results, which are derived from organic growth, underline our progress towards these two objectives." "....the Group is expected to exceed market expectations" My thoughts: T'over likey to be around £20m for the full year and let's presume margins of 15% (they say they expect margin improvement in H2) A crude estimate : £3m profit for the year rising to £3.75m the year after (en route to £25m) This year's eps target : 1.4p or a current p/e of 10. I would expect eps target for '08 to be > 1.6p Add to this a dividend policy and you can see how undervalued the share price is at current levels. DYOR but I bought in today (when the wioder market is well dodgy). My buy is listed by ADVFN as a sell - it's all due to the timing of the psoting of the trade vs the actual time at which it happened | silverfern
08/6/2007 09:09 | red hot penny shares has a 25p target in place for these shares - They have picked some cracking companies over the last year or so which have delivered. does anyone here have a particular target in mind? | flemboy
08/6/2007 08:41 | my purchase of 34k not shown yet. These are very good results | silverfern

15/5/2007 21:36 | my thoughts too, I was getting a bit concerned about the price drift, a break above 15p tomorrow hopefully | hornets
15/5/2007 17:33 | My sentiments also. Maybe now the results are closer, palms are getting sweaty and thoughts of good things to come. Who knows. | mistertibbs
15/5/2007 15:24 | AT LAST !! Some movement in the share price - today's rise of one penny represents a 7.41 % increase. bygadsir | bygadsir
23/2/2007 16:26 | RED HOT PENNY SHARES editor TOM BULFORD today makes AUK a BUY at 15 pence. Twelve month target is 25 pence according to TB. | bygadsir
15/2/2007 12:28 | Hi Max. No, i dont hold anything now but i still post on a few threads for a little interest when i'm online. Muted response to great news today in Auk, mm's seem to be clearing a seller as you can buy at mid price (15.6p), clear the seller and it's back to 16-18p higher imho. | quotes_4_u
15/2/2007 11:01 | You still hold these q4u? Max | maxinvestor
12/2/2007 09:45 | Been watching this one MM games. 2 mm just moved to the bid at the same time. 4 bid 1 offer now nice. Looks like it could move up. | terry91
07/2/2007 16:59 | If that trade is correct then it has to go down as the biggest rip-off ever by a mm to charge 17.73p for 147k when the offer was 15p. Hopefully a mistake, if not i would have that order cancelled ! | quotes_4_u
30/1/2007 21:00 | I sold out of AUK recently after a cracking run. Looking to reinvest also in the support services sector and came across Asite (ASE). Anyone know much about them as they look very cheap but also a big gamble, although they are in the same field as AUK in a way? | newsh
25/1/2007 15:02 | I hope you have a sense of proportion! It's only money after all. | silverfern
25/1/2007 08:13 | forget what I said about SMC looking set to break 200p! | hornets
25/1/2007 06:22 | silverfern : the 300p+ refers to SMC, these are currently 191p and looking set to break 200p. I agree that there is still upside to AUK, a break above the recent high of 18p is now needed. A break of 11p saw these shoot up to 18p, so 25p could be the next peak. About time I had a bit of luck after a recent loss with Homebuy going under, I hold from about 9p around 6 years ago (no lectures about stop-losses please!). These look like they are going places now, my 2 month target is 25p too. | hornets
24/1/2007 12:27 | Added at 17.4p. Apart from a bit pf profittaking on results day this has held up very well; a bit more consdidlation at these prices and I think there is an upside to 25p possible n the next couple of months. I'm assuming the last post 'quotes' meant 30p! | silverfern
23/1/2007 10:16 | Another top call from serial nutter haystack :-)) He did the same with Cfl as well, from 4p to a higher of 25p there in under a year. | quotes_4_u
23/1/2007 10:14 | Hornets. Sorry but you are right about the last 6 months so no reason to say they cant make that amount in both halves this year and the fact they will eliminate debt too very soon also helps so it all underpins the shareprice. Just have a bit of a wait now for interims but it remains a good trading stock, easy 1.5-2p to be made on a regular basis when it has a sell off as it usually bounces back. Smc for me is the better play at this time, they are almost 4 times bigger but then their recent contracts and stage fees reflect it, eps forcast of around 18p this year so if they match Auk's then they could easily be worth 300p+. But dont get me wrong i think Auk is looking solid too ! | quotes_4_u
23/1/2007 08:23 | not to the same degree; a year ago they made losses in both Halfs. I guess the point is, after such a great run, do you think any further growth and savings is in the price. I think not and the way the announcements of new business have come in over the last six months suggests this is a company that is looking to build from, here, not consiolidate what they have. The news won't just stop now imho dyor etc. | silverfern
23/1/2007 07:53 | quotes_4_u : 0.44p of the 0.45p came from the last 6 months, I based my calculation on the results from the last 6 months only. Not sure if this is valid, are future results are likely to be skewed towards H2? | hornets
22/1/2007 11:19 | "I see the future of the Company as extremely encouraging with opportunities for further improvements in operating efficiency through off-shoring of work to our European network; development of income growth through the winning of larger project commissions and enhanced shareholder value through a more active merger and acquisitions programme" Given the skew on results to H2, and the current order book, a cautious view would be around 0.9p to 1p share; give a propsective p/e of 17 to 18. | silverfern |
