Hornets.

It's 12 months eps you are seeing so the current PER is around 40.

If Auk can keep increasing earnings at this kind of rate then they
will continue to have a generous rating.

Huge rival Smc is the one to have a look at now because they are
likely to do the same in their next results but they sell at a per
of under 20 so they are the value in a booming sector.

these look as good as could have been hoped for.

0.44p over last 6 months is equivalent to a pe of 19.6 (17.25 / 0.88) and the forward pe should be lower than this.

"LONDON (AFX) - Aukett Fitzroy Robinson Group Plc, an international group of architects and designers, reported a sharp rise in profits for the year to Sept
30 2006 and said it is confident of further improvement in the coming year."

Just the merest headlines from the results ---------

AUKETT FITZROY ROBINSON GROUP PLC

2006 PRELIMINARY RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENT

Financial Highlights
Twelve months ended 30 September 2006 2005
unaudited audited

* Group turnover (#000) 16,284 12,611

* Operating profit (#000) 840 236

* Profit before tax (#000) 786 159

* Earnings per share (pence) 0.45 0.02

The eps of 0.45 is interesting as at the interim it was 0.01 so practically the whole of the 0.45 came during the second half.

The company appears to be in a real growth phase and is confident of doubling revenue in less than 5 years from purely organinc growth with presumably a bonus for any acquisitions.

Cheers

more sells than buys today so far, but the price is still rising. I'm pretty confident for Monday, a good set of results should see the share price uptrend continue.

they have issued all the good news over the last couple of months, unfortunately i think all the good news is already built into the share price

Well, it finished at 17 up 12.4% on the day.

We shall know on Monday whether the figures come up to expectations - here's hoping.

Moving smartly upwards today - almost 10%.

It would appear that a number of people are expecting good results to be announced on Monday.

This is only a smallish company (by market cap.) but with good opportunities for growth, so the share price could continue to motor over the next few years.

Cheers

Has anyone got any turnover and pre tax estimates H2? This looks attractive just trying to feel what we can expect at the end of Jan.

Expecting good results here - must be better than the paltry £160k last time. The sector is very bouyant and as virtually all Architects are in private hands this outfit must be on a few radars at present.

Sold half my holding on Friday for a great profit - but still cheesed off at selling them too early and losing out on another £5k this week!

How far can it go !

The market cap is now 25 million, so something special is needed
in next results but business is booming so maybe there's more left
in the tank !

That's over a 300% gain since the thread was started, hope some
people out there mangaged to hold their nerve and ride it all the way.

yippee - bought first thing today - already up! MY expectation is that this is at 20p by results; way undervalued given the very postive RNS over the last six months. Quite unlike the previous incarnation- I think the management team know finance, marketing, and strategy, not just architecture, and those skills were lacking two years ago.

ahh - had to come - sold the lot (freeslicings and addings) ~13.6; +410% net;

taking advantage of some upwards momentum to sell into, ahead of results late Jan;
also doing the business of 'leaving some for the next man';
the results should be good, as per recent tr.stmt, and the chart allows for more upside, but I don't like trying to sell a large chunk (probably in smaller pieces) into a weak/falling market on a small stock like this;
I will say, though, it has been pleasant to see how the % spread has narrowed during its rise from the 2.5p to 13.5p the last year - makes taking the plunge despite the nasty spread in the first place a little more satisfying somehow :) (like BUC, OBS, CUS, INDY, eg.)

oh - and I may be back :)

Could hit 15p very soon !

Very good sign of strength to consolidate at the very high for
a few weeks and then start to move higher, because of the name
change i cannot find the old long term chart to look for signs
of resistance but this is a one way ticket at the moment for
all holders !

Dont hold, i sold out too early but the business is flying at present.

Anyone know where it will stop??

update: and now its north of 11p :)

finals late-Jan;
I agree that there is scope for further good contract news, but in any case, there is a good chance of further improvement in financials;
this is a company still untarring itself from its old Aukett guise; now a rather different company since the related FR reversed into it;

little snippit in the express yesterday re city whispers of more contract wins....and what with their interest in new stadiums....the difficulty is just how high could this realistically go!

Food bill is 10 times £50 = £500 - not cheap but probably more expensive than Ken Bates is charging at Elland Road!!

I was up at the Emirates Stadium yesterday - interesting to see Fitzroy have a box there - that must be costing them £100k-£150+ a year, the smallest of box deals are nearly £70K then there's the food and drink. Meals there cost £40-60 a head and a box takes at least 10 I think - add it up! About £5K per match food bill. 30 games per annum at home.

Somewhat expensive for a company making just £47k profit in H1 I'd have thought but I guess these directors work hard and deserve their perks :-)
