17/9/2021 09:46 | Good to hear from you Site Manager. If you'd been aware of my general record as an investor you'd know I don't always come out on top. But on this I seem to have been right - stopped clock & all that..... | reabank
17/9/2021 09:36 | Think the “no increase” statement is just saying that if one of the bidders wants to drop out they should say so by 5pm on the 21st | darrenp746
16/9/2021 18:07 | Thank you Reabank. Your post influenced my decision to hold. Not often I get to thank someone, but I owe you a pint. | site manager

08/9/2021 08:17 | Latest results suggest to me take the money being offered and run. The major 2021 revenue growth segment is in taking in more and more Incinerator ash while continuing to not have to pay landfill tax on that growth. Landfill tax payments went down yr on yr. | morton2011
30/8/2021 13:04 | Succinct and to the point, thank you so much sharw! I think I'll hold fire and see what happens. | sandperson
30/8/2021 09:36 | Sandperson - your letter from xo refers to a proposed takeover of the company at 280p but since then there has been a counteroffer at 325p so you can expect another letter from xo! I think you have misunderstood the letter - it is not you that has to sell (although you can of course sell in the market at any time if you wish). The bid for the company takes the route of a scheme of arrangement under Part 26 of the Companies Act. This means that if it is voted through and approved by the High Court it becomes compulsory for all shareholders. If that happens you don't need to take any action - your shares will be cancelled and you will automatically receive the money in your xo account. As at close on Friday you could sell you shares in the market at 330p - a little more than the offer. That means the market thinks an even higher offer may come. If you sell at 330p and the current offer goes through you will gain but if a higher bid comes along you will lose out. | sharw
29/8/2021 20:06 | I'm a total ignoramus about shares and share dealing, I was told to get on this company by a mate when I had a very small amount of cash to invest. I've made just under £2.5k. Shares bought through X-O and have had a letter from them telling me I have to sell at £2.80. What's that all about? Can I sell at a higher price before this enforced sale comes in? | sandperson
27/8/2021 18:48 | so Morgan Stanley are not ruling out a further bid,,,wil a third party enter tthe fray?? my target is 450p | waggle
26/8/2021 07:10 | Interesting article in today's Times page 41. "There maybe another offer to come" | site manager
25/8/2021 10:31 | the fact that 2 of the non-binding undertakings set a release price of 345p suggests that Morgan Stanley may come back with a counter bid.... | waggle
25/8/2021 09:43 | Do any of you understand the reason why the acquirer is called Eleia? | tiredoldbroker
25/8/2021 09:39 | I have had this in a SIPP for several years now (2012).... Are there any sensible views around final exit price here. Can we expect more bids. Interesting the price has gone straight to the bid price. Often it stays below on the basis it's not 100% certain. The fact that it has tells me the deal is 100% certain to go through or that there could be new players and a higher bid. Sensible thoughts please... | respecter
25/8/2021 08:57 | As expected, and good news. | revoman
25/8/2021 08:48 | I am too, Slightly influenced by a couple of posters here that thought there might be a higher offer, so cheers gents. | site manager |
