18/2/2020 15:42 | At least 3 parties interested? £10 being mentioned? | poebardem
18/2/2020 13:24 | The waiting game. Anyone heard any whispers or rumours? | mrbear2
18/2/2020 07:43 | Bbluesky, what is the message in your post. That BBC are the best radio broadcaster in the world. | wooty01
17/2/2020 21:42 | Big picture stuff. Boris/Dominatrix have no idea of the value of the BBC. Pathetic people, but there we are.... but not the end. I went to an Foreign Office Open Day and asked about the World Service. They said that in a survey, what came up top was the news from Britain. So, they have expanded the number of languages that the World Service delivers to. Excellent. BOOM's talent (ex-beeb) will out (we hope!). When it comes to radio there are very few big players outside the BBC ie can you name them? Reaons to be cheerful pt 4! | bbluesky
17/2/2020 20:28 | What Audiboom have is a solid and broad business in podcasting. From original content and streaming to an advertising platform. Revenue $35m and profitable in 2nd or 3rd Qtr20. Ideal for Twitter or Newscorp who are nowhere in audio streaming. Spotify may have spent their money now and may already have a good infrastructure. But if Spotify took AB they would simply have cornered the entire market with only start-ups available. | wooty01
17/2/2020 16:16 | I can see that figure being achieved easily.... | deanoblues
17/2/2020 16:01 | If AB have something that two or more big players want enough and a bidding war pursues then rational valuations go out of the window. However, being realistic, at this point in time, £10/share would be marvellous and not unreasonable looking at others. Much beyond that and it would be overvalued, however many many companies are acquired for reasons beyond valuation in isolation | rachelrileysbra
17/2/2020 15:55 | $250million / £13-14 ? | poebardem
17/2/2020 15:51 | £10 is is still low compared to the Ringer. Could go higher as there seems to be multiple interested parties. | poebardem

17/2/2020 14:11 | 4x is £7.70. Go for it! | wooty01
17/2/2020 12:04 | I agree 5.5 will be great but as far as I'm aware that bid has already been far beaten. | richyrich8
17/2/2020 12:02 | More like 3x 4x | daar
17/2/2020 11:29 | Most investors would be positive about this sale price but may feel it's under sold given other valuations. £10 is really the price but whether it's achievable is another matter. $180m value. Raine will make a small fortune based on a steep upward sliding scale of fees starting from 0% at £4. Raine doesn't muck around. | wooty01
17/2/2020 11:23 | £7.50 is a market cap of $135m which is acceptable. | wooty01
17/2/2020 11:16 | Rumour mill is still £7.5, would be happy with 5.5 however | rachelrileysbra
17/2/2020 10:35 | You mean a doubling in price. | wooty01
17/2/2020 09:01 | Most know what happened with EUA on takeover talks... | daar

15/2/2020 01:48 | It's convenient they don't have to announce the bids don't you think? I wonder if that was Candy topping up again yesterday! Gives us all a chance to scoop up more I guess... | richyrich8
