Yes interesting to hear Stuart's comment on where he believes the market cap should be in the near term, obviously with much greater expectations further down the line.

They were profitable in Q4 and 2024 will a profitable year once again.

There will also be upgrades as the year progresses.

PS the drop today is a false drop from the weird high UT on Friday, the actual drop is only 5%. Obviously not great but look at the chart on the rise to 2000p, there were plenty of 5-10-15% drops on that rise...

what good is a record year if they can't make a decent profit

Bit surprised to see us fall further. But as Buffett said "The market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent"... Just patience IMO and let the numbers do the talking.

They have already said that this year will be a record.

Z1co, Q1 last year was when they had their downturn so a lot of the money booked in got cancelled so they should smash the first three quarters this year in effect, unless we get armageddon again which might well happen. The lower this goes, the more likely a bid imho!

It will have to be really good Q1 to get the shares moving higher.

They have already stated that 2024 will be a record year. The first quarter of 2022 was also a record (Q1 2022) when they recorded a revenue of $19.7m.

If they can match or even exceed that figure then i expect these shares will be on their way to £10 again.

They will for sure beat last year's Q1 revenue which was only 15.4m.

Management nor the company are going away and are now chasing a higher ranking in USA which truly a feat as not many UK companies can attest to success in the American tech/media markets.

Agreed and it's Cavendish's modus operandi to promote. Let's not be under any illusion. This is not a tech startup with lots of hype and no revenue. Audioboom has been going 10 years and so unbelievably placed in a great media industry. A few bumps along the way but it's finally got through a very sticky macro economic downturn in advertising over past 18 months. It's shown it has the structure to survive

The LSE site provides date as well as time, and shows the 9000 trade as being on the 19th (Friday). Who knows. It's in the price now anyway, as they say. Roll on next week.

Just to say that wasn't me downvoting you cyberbub. No idea why someone would do so.

I've just noticed the BOOM UT trade was only 25 shares. I'd got my facts wrong. It's that trade of 25 shares which dictated the closing price.

The following Ordinary trade 9000 @ 272p wouldn't have affected the closing price - it was pure co-incidence it happened to be the same price. That's probably a very late reported trade from a previous day.

So I was totally wrong in my fat fingers theory. Looks like a deliberate attempt to make one's portfolio look better for the weekend, costing £68.
