23/12/2021 11:50 | That's very interesting AiE and similar in scale to Atome. Maybe a good sign :) | bountyhunter

21/12/2021 23:24 | H2-view have a lot of twitter followers so this is good coverage I think. | all in eol
18/12/2021 13:09 | I've also now added the link to the AIM admission document to the header. It's getting a bit crowded now but I think it's better to have potentially too much information included than not enough at this stage. | bountyhunter
18/12/2021 13:01 | That's a good point Ai, so we could see a fair amount of volatility as a result of that small free float. Plenty of newsflow has been mentioned which will be important going forwards from admission on 30th. Given that timing this could feature in New Year tips being a green hydrogen company. | bountyhunter
18/12/2021 12:14 | Immediately following admission 59.32% of the shares are held by the concert party. Page 119 Page 126 Add to that 6.09 % Trafigura and 5.19 Schroders doesn’t leave much of a free float if I’ve read correctly? | all in eol
18/12/2021 11:46 | No problem - I didn't have the opportunity yesterday to update the header due to work commitments. Re FIDs I noted that they anticipate that the value of the company will be significantly higher by that point due to de-risking and consequently NPV being higher. | bountyhunter
18/12/2021 11:15 | Thx BH, Some key dates in that Energy Voice article: Atome CEO Olivier Mussat said it aimed to reach “FID by the second half of 2022″. It then plans “to have first green hydrogen in early 2024”. Cheers, Mark | marben100
18/12/2021 10:33 | from yesterday also added. | bountyhunter
18/12/2021 10:32 | Investor meet presentation from Thursday afternoon added at the top of the header (58m including Q&A at the end). Only just had the chance to watch this - packed with information with investor questions answered at the end. | bountyhunter
17/12/2021 22:40 | ATOME’s plan is to produce, market and distribute green hydrogen and ammonia, areas that are expected to emerge as a rapidly growing market. Hydrogen is widely considered within the ESG clean energy sector as a key part of the matrix of renewable power sources, necessary to meet net-zero carbon emissions targets by 2050. ATOME Energy has two operating subsidiaries: ATOME Paraguay based in Paraguay, and Green Fuel based in Iceland. Both subsidiaries have commenced operational planning, sourcing and negotiations with green electricity suppliers, equipment providers and offtake partners, it said. | bountyhunter

17/12/2021 14:23 | Power capacity from Itaipu is also huge (14GW) and Paraguay are currently only using 30% out of their 50% allocation, so 2.8GW going spare! From yesterday's presentation: ATOME has entered into an MOU with PTI, the innovation arm of Itaipu with a view to; § Securing up to 20 hectares of land from a technology park site currently in the advanced planning stages at ITAIPU (see picture) § Securing up to 250MW of power available to the technology park earmarked for green business within the economic zone where ATOME will also benefit from tax incentives | marben100
17/12/2021 13:27 | A good point Rich which hasn't been discussed much if at all here. Green hydrogen/ammonia production looks set to become a significant industry especially in Iceland with all that geothermal energy. One would expect the Icelandic Government to be fully behind new green energy ventures there. | bountyhunter
17/12/2021 12:49 | Listing updated to show expected size of primary offer. | all in eol
17/12/2021 12:04 | It should not go without saying there would be subsidies and tax advantages for green related energy products. | rich2006
17/12/2021 11:55 | Thanks for posting those updates mb, "presenters promised plenty of newsflow" is a good way to start and encouraging. Green hydrogen and ammonia is looking set to be becoming an increasingly important area as we progress towards a more sustainable world in terms of energy and climate. | bountyhunter
17/12/2021 11:30 | Not surprised to learn just now that my PrimaryBid application for shares will be met in full. In the meeting I asked how the £20m pre-money valuation was arrived at. They said it was the NPV of the first phase of the projects, using a conservative 15% discount rate (to account for the early stage risks) and concurred with by analysts from Finncap & share price Angel. [so I expect to see notes from those brokers once admission is effective]. I also asked about funding options for the project CAPEX. They suggested two options: 1. Potential "farm down" with a green investment fund. 2. Funding comprising 60% from commercial banks; 20% "soft loans" from bodies such as the World Bank; 20% equity. | marben100
17/12/2021 11:17 | My understanding/recoll | marben100
17/12/2021 11:15 | TBF Levine did NOT say yesterday that the offer was fully subscribed. His exact words were: "we are in the place that we hoped we would be in relation to the placing". A recording of yesterday's session is now available on IMC: | marben100 |
