22/2/2019 11:02 | DGR Global owns 11.11% of SOLG and as sirmoori says, that is exactly equal in value to the current MCap of DGR... In addition they have stakes in: Armour Energy 111.9m shares worth 8.3m AUD Aus Tin Mining 360.8m shares worth 5.4m AUD Dark Horse Resources 330.6m shares worth 1.3m AUD and Ironridge Resources 68.5m shares worth £12.5m That lot adds up to c£21 million, which is all in for free... DGR's 11.11% plus Newcrest 15.23% BLT 11.18% and Cornerstone 9.2% gives 46.72%, so its no wonder SOLG has made a bid for Cornerstone as a defence measure against a bid for itself (which underwrites JPMs case for a 90p valuation...) AIMHO as usual and DYOR PS unfortunately you can't hold DGR in an ISA...but if they got bid for first.... | rougepierre
22/2/2019 09:42 | Taken quick look DGR . Hard one . I tend it sells down assets to pay for the rest. Good to see copper outlook strong. | mronions
22/2/2019 09:31 | Thanks. Reassuring! | sirmoori
22/2/2019 09:28 | I have lots of ATYM and ARS for copper and AAU (awesome little company) for gold...Any suggestions for similar copper exposure? | shortarm
22/2/2019 09:27 | That's a breakout for copper from the medium term trading range...lets see if it holds... | rougepierre
22/2/2019 09:23 | Sirmoori I have a significant holding in DGRfor some time now for exactly the reasons you state...JPMs target price of 90p for SOLG is based on likely takeover attempts which is likely to include an offer for DGRs holding... AIMHO as usual and DYOR... | rougepierre
22/2/2019 09:22 | Copper is off on one again :-) | shortarm
22/2/2019 08:20 | Dummy sell this morning on 70000 = 237.5 p | mronions
22/2/2019 08:16 | More importantly is we do need to work something out with ASTOR . NB Ash really tries to ruin things for us and force bad financing deals at the time. His pay back is now we are in this impasse. | mronions
22/2/2019 08:13 | @van Why would SANDFIRE want to purchase a mature operation like ATYM? Have you seen some of SANDFIRE projects? They are looking to start from scratch. What expertise would SANDFIRE bring ? 0 . This project is not for them. Tailing damns? I have no concern over the railing damns, the improvement over Carlos set up is like comparing a shanty town to Manhattan: now the walls are massive and on top the water is no where near (sits in the middle). Carlos has always been negative the mine he lost, ran into the ground, maybe not entirely his fault but that was the outcome . Posters have said we would not get approval , we would not mine, each time they have got it wrong . | mronions
21/2/2019 18:58 | Sorry for OT, but I've been looking at ASX:DGR. I'm getting that its market cap is equal to the value of its share of SOLG alone, making all its other holdings "free". For that reason: a) it's looking like a very cheap method of owning SOLG; b) with some other, solid prospects thrown in. Anyone here in DGR and has anyone got any idea why it is so undervalued? Does this sound right? | sirmoori
21/2/2019 17:30 | Well said shortarm.... | rougepierre
21/2/2019 09:39 | What a coincidence! Trafigura, BMO Company looking for a buyer, asking to BMO for a search, an interested party SF conducted a dd and finally there is no buyer. Why nobody is interested despite the bright future anticipated by MrO? Which are the strategic limitations for Atalaya? Which are the conclusions of BMO review? What happens with the permits for tailings phase 2? The phase 1 will be full next year. | vanhelsingjr
20/2/2019 17:56 | Comark and BMO.worked in conjunction on the Iberian sale... That story is from 2011...zzzz.Opaque OK,so could be working again, but just let everyone know its an eight year old RNS I heard something completely different, hence my initial post a. Cpl of days ago on were people sure it was an Aus Co | tommyttrades
20/2/2019 17:48 | Touro plays into this. Different company if/when Touro is factored in. | waterloo01
20/2/2019 17:31 | Interesting source #van... 'the company is evaluating its strategic options' is what we officially were told.. Doesn't hurt to test the water as we scale up from 40,000 to 55,000 Tonnes later this year.. MandA is the way forward for the Majors.. one day this might happen, but not yet is my bet..! | laurence llewelyn binliner
20/2/2019 16:24 | Copper through $2.90...up 13% in just 6 weeks...COMEX, LME stocks way down.... Elastic stretching...? | rougepierre
20/2/2019 15:42 | Couldn't agree more MrO on future strategy - simple really. But having announced the strategic review they should surely announce its outcome. | husbod
20/2/2019 15:35 | think the RNS regarding strategic review was triggered by all the speculation of buyer in first place. The process was nothing more than an internal audit / review as part of normal business. Finding are : best strategy is keep going as we are , expand , extract copper. | mronions
20/2/2019 14:22 | Surely we should have an rns shortly to confirm the situation if the strategic review has in fact terminated. | husbod
20/2/2019 10:19 | I will say it again : If we have a shareholder who wants to exit, our other shareholders have right to first refusal , however we (ATYM) could also be interested in buying (simples, stock under valued). If one of our shareholders would like to exit, not our job to facilitate ie strategic review, open doors fully for DD ... third parties wanting to do DD will have to access same information as everyone else. | mronions
20/2/2019 10:15 | @MDS Touro is not the most important thing IMHO . We get permits or not, will take some time . It does not cost us or become interesting until those permits get the go ... this is something we have expertise in and the skill set to achieve, hence we have agreement and options on the site, otherwise it will stay as a quarry for building material (so mining actually taking place). What is more exciting is court Atalaya and Rio . | mronions |
