Whatever sophisticated modeling the fund managers are currently following obviously isnt working is it and hasnt been for many years. I would never place my cash in any actively managed fund!! According to the analysis, 99 per cent of actively managed US equity funds sold in Europe have failed to beat the S&P 500 over the past 10 years, while only two in every 100 global equity funds have outperformed the S&P Global 1200 since 2006. Almost 97 per cent of emerging market funds have underperformed. Crypto is a completely alien concept to most of these old school funds managers and they have no idea now to approach it at present. I guarantee once the market is regulated they (fund managers) will flock to crypto currencies. Way too much money to be made or lost to be ignored. | iankn73 | |
