Yeah, those young gits... Cough cough, coming from a 28 y/o. I may not be an old timer or even an ATYM old timer, but I knew this was a good company when I first saw it sometime late last year.

Some decent buys going through on good volume. Whatever else happens I think it is fair to say that this was the week that ATYM finally arrived on the scene.

A bunch of new posters will confirm it although I always find it a little sad when the old-timers (fellow sufferers?) are suddenly outnumbered by young upstarts.

lol erric. Like the break even list. It helped when I was averaging down when the share price was in the 70/80 as I had faith long term.

I just need Kincora copper to come good and a I can retire early. We can all but dream...

Those numbers don't look quite right to me unless XGC and Traf have sold a few!

Perhaps van has been buying theirs.You never know. Ha ha

Our II's won't be selling I doubt, as CuFeS2 said before many times, their share holding is an extra discount mechanism for them through dividends..

So -3% discount for their off takes, and another -5/10% more from their dividends in 2 years time, why would you give that entitlement away for break even ..?, you just wouldn't..

Maybe but I think they are more sophisticated than to have a rule about never selling unless in profit. They will just be assessing their investment here against other possible uses of their cash. As they have held until now I can't see them selling just as things start to look good, unless they are bearish on Cu.

Also for most of the big investors ATYM is not particularly significant. I doubt it is something they spend too much tome thinking about.

Super Bob, you can take Van's post as a negative if you assume he's trying to place a mental ceiling on how far the share price will climb - i.e. He "might" be hinting that some major shareholders will take the chance to get out once they are in break-even territory.

I hope it isn't but... just saying ... give a dog a bad name..

That's two positive posts from van. I thought I saw a mass exodus of bats from the cave recently seeking tasty morsels.

For those who are interested I wouldn't particularly recommend Captain Underpants but at least it meant I didn't spend yesterday watching the share price going nowhere.

Earlier in the week I suggested 6p by the end of the week would be nice. That was tongue in cheek but I think it's pretty close to knocking out one of my many averaging down buys at 5.75p. Think I might be in profit just a little north of 200p

Another heave and we might even be in the top 10 risers (no 13 when I looked earlier).

The market is finally waking upto us at long last. My average @£1.35 is looking good when I log into view my SIPP.

Still dirt cheap at current prices.

ATYM will be able to deal with Astor in 2017/18..
FY2018 will be c85M/lbs and we could have a $1.00 margin on Copper..

My calculations would put the P/E below 2x for this year if we stay above $3 copper...

Meanwhile, both copper and ATYM have broken through the 'ceiling'...

haha, thanks Erric, well the broker note I accessed via Research Tree shows the p/e of 6 falling to 4, but that is a few months old, so the increased CP should boost this materially IMO....anyway, let's see what the update brings in September as that should provide more clarity. the bit I liked about the last one was having enough cash to retire old "debt" ....
