21/8/2017 23:49 | Curve balls aside (or black swans), I think this is the start of the curve, not the end of it. Copper is a current and future proof commodity in the short/medium and long term IMO. | waterloo01
21/8/2017 22:34 | Hmmm . . . and yet rougepierre seemed more than happy to try and gloat about posters who may or may not be holding shares in EMED in the same post saying a family member had died . . . | cufes2
21/8/2017 22:23 | After many, many years and averaging down far too often I have just struck break even point on this share. Let's hope this is the start of the rerating and I do not sink back into the red too quickly...... You never know what curve balls can fly in from off field with this one ! | diablo26261
21/8/2017 21:07 | Maybe....but there are perhaps better moments to have a pop. | erric
21/8/2017 20:07 | It was simply a factual post in response to rougepierre quoting the WTI share price today . . . Rougepierre posted on here that he sold all of his WTI shares at the end of July at around 0.5p according to the chart . . . He quoted the WTI share price at 0.9p today . . . I provided some context and clarity to the post today IMHO . . . I'm sure rougepierre wouldn't want anyone to think he was bragging about his gains . . . | cufes2
21/8/2017 19:30 | Well said Erric | waterloo01
21/8/2017 19:25 | It's nice to be nice. | erric
21/8/2017 18:49 | You haven't got a clue rougepierre . . . But enjoy the ride . . . If anyone wants a massive gamble then have a look at CHAL . . . | cufes2
21/8/2017 18:32 | Not sure how accurate these various charts are but quite often posters mention copper prices that are consistently higher than the price shown on the header chart. And the header chart never gets as high as the price quoted elsewhere. Today is a good example as the header chart price has been below 3 all day.Just about to open my rioja but will keep some back in the hope that a further celebration will be in order tomorrow. Not as good a vintage as the rioja that rouge will have to courier over to me when no dividend has been declared by the time of the 2018 AGM. (I have to periodically remind him of our wager as at his age he is getting a little forgetful). | husbod
21/8/2017 18:12 | The chart I put in the header is supposed to be spot live price | erric
21/8/2017 17:56 | This one's real-time (I think) | jwafc
21/8/2017 17:48 | rp I can see that DAILYFX isn't live prices as it lags by 10mins, whereas LiveCharts are, but there is a discrepancy of the price indicated if you compare the price at the same time period ! | gcpinc
21/8/2017 17:26 | Thanks Pawsche - so I did Mr10k a disservice then. Has he gone? | husbod
21/8/2017 17:21 | @Husbod... All the big "sells" reported after-hours are buys.. The 2 x 10K and 5,830 @ 149.00p reported approx 16:31 - 16:34 were traded at 15:31ish when the offer was 149.. Ditto the 13,418 "sell" reported at 16:24. The 20K "sell" @ 145.00p reported at 17:15 was traded at 14:15 when the offer was 145.00p Lots of buying today... :-) | pawsche
21/8/2017 17:03 | So it's a bottle of Rioja then despite Mr party-pooper-10k appearing at the close. And a double figure day increase which hasn't happened for a long time. I remember, as do the others rocking in their chairs on the front veranda, smoking their pipes and expectorating onto the dusty track, the time when we used to go up by a penny a day namely 30p now so we're going in the right direction but not overly rapidly. Why the increased volume today? Hopefully because peeps are starting to stand up and take notice. Let's see if we have another decent volume day tomorrow. | husbod
21/8/2017 16:57 | That was a good day at the office for us wasn't it, the dawn of the under valued company..?.. :o), 275K traded and a 150p+ close.. a solid start and 1 step closer to where we should be at somewhere over 200p.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
21/8/2017 16:55 | rp I know you keep a close check on the cu price, there seems to be a little difference in the real time price on DAILYFX and LiveCharts in your opinion which is the more accurate ? | gcpinc
21/8/2017 16:54 | I am invested here and this is a great company, great operations in a good jurisdiction. I know the supply side is supportive of higher copper prices at the moment but I am not confident global demand is necessarily going to be supportive of higher prices. I firmly believe 2008 mk2 is right around the corner - you know it is inevitable when you understand the monetary system well enough - and this will not be supportive of the demand side of the equation which will impact the supply side of the equation as less is consumed. Something to ponder. I am staying invested however. Even if copper stays where it is for the foreseeable, Atalaya will make really good profits. | shakeypremis
21/8/2017 16:30 | Closed over 150p...? Can't be bad... AIMHO as usual... | rougepierre
21/8/2017 16:28 | Just checked DAILYFX yes you are correct, I assume then this to be more accurate ? | gcpinc
21/8/2017 16:27 | Weatherly 0.9p.... | rougepierre |
