31/7/2017 09:40 | Mr 10k still insisting on taking his customary 2p under the bid(130p)this morning! | mount teide
31/7/2017 09:09 | Pleased with that. | spcecks
31/7/2017 09:05 | That Grant w/o struck me too Acamas although it may just be standard accounting practice when a sum of money is in dispute. Of course we don't know (and this is the sort of thing that can be asked if one attends the AGM) if the EU (or is it the central government or the local government?) are disputing the whole of the Grant or just part of it or the reason(s) why. Given their propensity to pay out to all sorts of dubious enterprises there must be something that has upset them - an absence of backhanders in Spain? What a wonderful combination! In the meantime a steady update but by no means one that will start the fireworks. So we have to wait again, probably until the next financial update or the company suddenly being "discovered" by the teenage scribblers and assorted hacks. | husbod
31/7/2017 08:54 | Also better grades and pit extensions plus new concessions. A new N3 report should make interesting reading. Lots going on.Edit: Buyer in background. Wouldn't be surprised if this tests and goes through £1.42 by end of the day. | waterloo01
31/7/2017 08:45 | Two points from the update 1} Expanding the truck fleet to deal with higher output good sign. Writing off the 8.5 million grant suggests we might not get it disappointing Other than those two items the rest reads within what I expected | acamas
31/7/2017 08:44 | Does anyone know when we can expect the numbers? | sirmoori
31/7/2017 08:25 | 1 vs 1 this morning. It was 1 v 3 last thing Friday. Trades in the background to be reported later, perhaps? | sirmoori
31/7/2017 08:24 | 9058 tonnes produced plus the overhang from Q1 with all having gone to the port surely means more than 11,000,000 euros or c £10,000,000 free cashflow this quarter, i.e. EBITDA in Q2 ...P/E still under 3 times...ridiculous!! AIMHO as usual... | rougepierre
31/7/2017 08:23 | Excellent results again. This is a big plus but can anyone explain why in Q1 Realised copper price per lb = 2.48 Market copper price per lb (period average) = 2.64 In Q2 Realised copper price per lb = 2.61 Market copper price per lb (period average) = 2.57 This alone will significantly increase profit for the quarter compared to Q1. In addition they have confirmed that all inventories were run down during Q2. The numbers should look very good when we get them. SBT | superbobtaylor
31/7/2017 08:17 | Thats a highly competent production report produced by a highly competent mining engineer who is more than delivering on his promises despite having to accommodate the modification downtime... Solid numbers just as the copper price motors towards $3.00 and beyond. Well done Alberto... | rougepierre
31/7/2017 07:59 | Edit: Copper now $2.91. So update timing is just fine thank you. | waterloo01
31/7/2017 07:44 | As Bjork might have sung, 'Oh it's so quite'.... and copper has hit $2.899 | waterloo01
31/7/2017 07:38 | Yes, another solid quarter - happy with that. | mount teide
31/7/2017 07:03 | All looks rather good. Shame the RNS system has issues this AM. | waterloo01
30/7/2017 19:14 | That sums it up neatly Acamas. Knowing ATYM there could well be an absence of RNS tomorrow but I will take a look at 7am on the off chance. Will next week be the turning point I wonder. | husbod
30/7/2017 11:05 | LLB, There is a two page spread in the IC this week page 66 "A Natural Hedge" it is talking about copper bottom investments Even Kefi are mentioned among 10 other which I believe are AIM type miners but not a word on ATYM. To my knowledge twice the IC have made ATYM buys in their write ups but completely missing in this article. It is so frustrating | acamas
30/7/2017 10:04 | Acamas, your're right there, nothing has been simple holding this share, milestones have come and gone, with little to no share price response..!, good luck in making a ROI elsewhere, and there are plenty of other opportunities out there, it's difficult to put a value on the time element of locking up capital here for so long, but square it to bank deposit rates and it's not so bad..! With the EUR/USD +12.6% YTD, and Copper +14.5% YTD we are a little ahead but not as much as we would like, a lot will depend on if the company have any currency hedge positions, and we will have to wait until September to find out in the H1 financials. For Q2 vs Q1 it's about fine tuning the efficiency of the plant, reducing the impurity penalties, maximising throughput rate, and the Silver stream revenues, we will make a gain too on the smelter fees which will come down.. not all our costs are in Euro's, salaries being the biggest of course but we don't know what we can buy in Dollars. The company has turned a corner now in 2017, doing everything right, and building our position up 1 day at a time, expansion/acquisitio On the expansion of PRT from 9.5 to 15.0MTPA we don't know the costs yet, but I can see this being funded from cash/off-takes and deferred payments, we know the mining contractor was happy to roll forward their invoices on the 'carrot' of future business/projects.. Q2 update tomorrow will answer some questions with the revised presentation to follow, exciting times for a wanna be miner/explorer now coming good and delivering on its promises.. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
29/7/2017 16:25 | LLB, I think we all are. Nothing is ever simple with EMED/ATYM As for rushing back in there are at least 1700 other shares I can consider for my capital alongside this one. It needs to fire up and achieve a thing it has not done in the past NINE years | acamas
28/7/2017 19:18 | Looking forward to Monday indeed.., happy with a steady rise this time rather than a spike to 165p and retrace to 110p, Q2 update expectations are the thick end of 10,000 Tonnes of Copper, and 160,000 Ounces of Silver.. It will also be interesting to see the corresponding company presentation, and the revised broker notes after our half yearly numbers and financials.. Onward and upward with building the company, paying down invoices owed, and accumulating cash, ahead of expansions/acquisiti Next stop $3.00 Copper and a $1 margin, wouldn't that be nice, and it could happen in 2017 too.. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
28/7/2017 18:55 | Have a good weekend too rouge.I look forward to Monday with expectation but little hope.In short a reasonably positive Rns which will be ignored by the market. More than happy to be proved wrong as I would really like to reduce my losses here. | husbod
28/7/2017 17:05 | Correcting the harper lund post on III... Peel Hunt's target has been increased from 220 to 245 FinnCap's target is 209 not 195... Cannacord Genuity correct at 210, but... Surely some of these will be reviewed next week...and in addition BMO Capital Markets, Mirabaud, Brandon Hill, Cantor Fitzgerald, Investec, Numis Securities, RFC Ambrian, share price Angel and Whitman Howard have all covered the share and may be looking again after the H2 Results, if not the Production Report... Have a good weekend all...excited for Monday... Cheers | rougepierre
28/7/2017 16:36 | All good points saint...where's greavsie..... | rougepierre
28/7/2017 16:09 | My modest thoughts on AL and his new NED position. I see no reason why this should interfere with his role at ATYM. The NED role is usually only a part-time job. He is highly regarded for getting new projects up and running so why wouldn`t a company find his experience useful. The Salave Project is in northern Spain so he wouldn`t have to travel very far when required. He could pop in when he is visiting Touro. He could find the project interesting as part of his future, perhaps when his work at RioTinto and Touro are done, or perhaps ATYM find the idea of some future association with a gold miner as profitable, or as a hedge against falling copper prices? It is after all one of the largest undeveloped gold reserves in Western Europe. A good foot to have in the door maybe. AIMO of course. | saintb
28/7/2017 14:37 | Perhaps "The Millennium Exchange the London Stock Exchange's new trading platform, which builds on the expertise brought into the Group by the acquisition of MillenniumIT in October 2009" | keelhauled |
