depends what you man by "rich" monty and so you know a lot of rich fundamentals ? !
I have relied on charts for trading for some years and I make heaps at times and just
a nice net profit rest of time - nice to go short at times too using CFds .
The secret is sticking to OAAT and trusting the chart and "trend is your friend" .


greg8 - maybe not to sell day before results but to see the trend . But more than one way to make money and each to his own as they say !

it is also why best to sell day before results announced if a share has uptrending chart in anticipation of good results . If not , you are gambling on market reaction to the results .

Often insiders are aware of an upcoming good news story and a chart might well be reflecting that in advance of any announcement

stupid comment as you can not equate being short and being negative ! If a share has a downtrending chart FOR EXAMPLE it would be right to be negative and it would be realistic. AZN is not in that category and more upside I suspect although pharmas can be volatile

Astra boss ditches UK expansion plan to build new plant in Ireland as jabs row with Government escalates

Pharma giant Astrazeneca has ditched plans for fresh investment in Macclesfield and will build a plant in Ireland instead after a dispute with ministers.

The row was triggered by the Government's decision to order booster Covid jabs from its rival, Pfizer. Chief executive Pascal Soriot 'threw his toys out of the pram' after the decision, according to a Government source
