04/10/2018 11:38 | Still considerably over valued imo,sell. | imperial3
04/10/2018 11:32 | Leaving the cars aside (overvalued), does anyone see any value in the Aston Martin luxury brand and premium state of the art property developments etc...? Cash | cashandcard
04/10/2018 11:26 | That's not Rowan Atkinson again, is it. With his money he can afford a few prangs. | essentialinvestor
04/10/2018 11:19 | maybe these fund managers have been incentivised to participate are they allowed to recive gifts such as free cars ? | spob
04/10/2018 08:49 | £ 10 coming | hvs
04/10/2018 08:49 | Crazy valuation for a brand. The future might be a takeover by Tesla. | snoopy12
04/10/2018 08:32 | Hint - fund mangers invest others people's money. | essentialinvestor
04/10/2018 08:31 | Bankrupt seven times in past. Cannot believe anyone daft enough to buy into this POS, 200p in about 18 months, unreliable parts bin cars and a recession on the way. | porsche1945
04/10/2018 08:04 | AML is screaming short me ; ) | aussiedonnie
04/10/2018 06:47 | I can’t believe fund managers bought in to this at such a rich valuation. No wonder I invest my own money. | rock star
03/10/2018 19:39 | This is something to consider in the teeth of a recession, rather than peak cycle. Plenty of opportunities ahead for the patient imv. When buying from PE, it's often private equity that gets the better deal. | essentialinvestor
03/10/2018 19:34 | Unusual timing for the IPO of a global brand. Germany was enjoying a public holiday today, so markets closed and Chinese markets also closed this week. I wonder whether we shall see some buying once they both reopen. | pendragon2
03/10/2018 18:31 | FT tore in to the IPO recently, worth a read. Would be very cautious here, nice exit for PE. | essentialinvestor
03/10/2018 18:20 | dsct - I think the share price will drift down over the next few months - PE is quite high. Will be interested around GBP 12.00. Tie up with Red Bull Racing is generating a lot of publicity for not a lot of money. I'm also nostalgic for AM, one of the few British brands we can still be proud of, regardless of who owns it. | slaccs
03/10/2018 17:06 | Just looked at the Management Team page. Reminded me that you cant make an omelette without cracking egos. | ccnp
03/10/2018 16:55 | I'll wait for a dip in markets next year and tuck a few away at £5.00 ; )) | aussiedonnie
03/10/2018 16:48 | I'm glad someone's started an AML thread (thanks bigbigdave). I'm also pleased it wasn't listed as Aston Martin Group (AMG) ! I'm not intending to invest here (at the moment), but it's more my interest from the car/nostalgia side. @slaccs - I too, have read Ferrari dropping 33% within 3 months of their 2015 IPO ($52 down to $34?), but are now $137. So, is AML a buy at <£12 ? No idea, but I've got their figures from the prospectus, and time-permitting, may compare against Ferrari and Tesla ! AML current PE is apparently 23.5 v Ferrari 22. For anyone interested in (their) cars, I'd recommend reading the non-financial prospectus pages - Part V - starting at page 32. | dsct
03/10/2018 15:40 | Look at price of race nowMaybe Aston can follow suit | foxy22
03/10/2018 15:00 | Is this a shorters BB? I think the Ferrari IPO share price dropped about 40%, now look at the price. | slaccs |
