We are basically still waiting for the date of the Court Hearing to sanction the Scheme (currently guiding sometime in Q1 2016). The effective date of the Scheme should be a few days after sanction. Takeover proceeds to be received c14 days after the effective date.

Final Results of the Amlin Court and General Meeting -

"Subject to the satisfaction or waiver of the other Conditions set out in the Scheme Document and the sanction of the Scheme by the Court, the Scheme is expected to become effective during the first quarter of 2016."

Scheme Document -

Court Hearing to sanction the Scheme = a date expected to be in early 2016, subject to regulatory clearances ("D")
Last day of dealings in, and for registration of transfers of, and disablement in CREST of, Amlin Shares = D+1
Suspension of listing of, and dealings in, Amlin Shares = 5.00 p.m. on D+1
Scheme Record Time = 6.00 p.m. on D+1
Effective Date of the Scheme = D+2 – D+9 ("S")
