Bear market rallies still, we are very much still in a bear market with a rough winter to come. Unemployment will start rising, spending power limited going forward, best stay patient for around 500/600 in Q4 imo

buy2sell1 if you invest follow TV news you will lose your money, my friend, bad news are more interest to people than good news. I am looking at the long term, I don't think inflation will be higher in 5 years, I don't think war continue for 5 years, and I don't think we will be in recession for 5 years. If this is happen no one will be safe. ASOS have 35% of the UK market if ASOS not sell for this 35% someone will. Any poor person can buy clothe from Asos, again is not end of world it is only a new cycle

BAD NEWS FOR RETAILERS - UK CONSUMER CONFIDENCE HITS ALL TIME LOW

UK consumer confidence has fallen to its lowest level since comparable records began almost 50 years ago as the rising cost of living stokes concerns over personal finances and economic prospects.

In monthly research from data provider GfK, the August result for overall consumer confidence fell to minus 44 from a figure of minus 41 the previous month.

This is the lowest result since the first data was collated back in 1974.

The decline in confidence reflects a darkening mood across the UK economy with prices rising at double-digit rates, the largest drop in real wages for more than 20 years, a resurgence of strikes and mounting pressures across public services.

Linda Ellett, UK head of consumer markets, retail and leisure at KPMG, said the decline in confidence was likely to weaken retail sales soon.

“A widespread reduction in spending ability will lead to drops in demand and changing buying behaviour, both of which will impact retailers and the wider economy,” she said.

You put the investor under pressure and watch how they respond .
Usually you can tell a lot about them just from their first few responses .
