Antofagasta says its copper production fell 10.5% in the first quarter. Don't panic captain!! Could well be that copper shortages will come sooner and bigger than forecast.

I've added thosewhocando to my filter list. Stupid boy.

Why don't you take out a REALLY MASSIVE SHORT on ARS? Let us know how you get on.

Well, Freeport can't have it both ways. Pay no attention to the environmental damage incurred via mining Grasberg and then complain when someone says enough is enough and asks them to fork out.

As usual, they'll come to an agreement after some sabre rattling on both sides. last 6 words below.

"Chief Executive Richard Adkerson described the environment ministry's demands as "shocking" and "disappointing", but said he was confident a resolution would be found."

thosewhocando, you quite obviously have a motive as for the past couple of years every single post apart from the above & one on the 25th, has been deleted and replaced with a 'full stop'.

I don't see what freeport has done as a worry to Asiamet at all as Asiamet are just starting out their heap leaching mines and can work within the guidelines expressed, whereas Freeport have had no care whatsoever for the environment over the past decades and have now been told to clean up their mess, wheres the concern.

Your history on ADVFN tells me that you post such articles with clear intentions and then later delete everything you have posted so you cannot be seen to be an internet troll. The only shame for you is that you cannot totally delete a post on ADVFN but rather you have to delete the words and replace with something else, and in your case a full stop. All rather pathetic son if you ask me.

We all need to understand and judge whether these sort of actions from the indo gov are against an individual company or depicts their attitudes to business and from what Ive seen to date, this would appear to me to be more against Freeport rather than how they conduct themselves but one to watch.

Copper testing 3.16/lb. If it breaks and holds it could open up 3.30 in short order

Thanks, been looking at AirBnB today. We use that to advertise our Anglesey holiday cottage and met many nice people. Thanks for re-assurance. We like the two-way ratings.

LM, only from my own personal experience of travelling quite extensively recently, in order to find such places I tend to use AirBnB. Take a look at the below address:

Hope it helps.

I know what a worldly, well-travelled lot you are here, so can I pick your brains? I am off to Lisbon, Portugal for a week in June and looking for accommodation. Criteria: self catering or room only, within walking distance of bars & restaurants, close to a metro station, clean & tidy. You get the picture.
Can vanyone help? LM

Spread is 11.9/12.0. MMs want your shares, they can dream on as far as I'm concerned.

A very minor top-up for me with some dividend income recently received. It all helps. In the long run I am hoping that dividend will be a multiple of its value today.
