Instis will buy in via new equity , frustrating but a fact of life , ultimately good for all although getting to a billion mkt cap doesn't equal ten bagger , more like 5 bagger

HG. I suspect a sustained time at > £100M would be necessary to count?

Also, above £100 million market cap so will allow more funds/institutions to invest that are precluded from <£100 million companies.

Afternoon all.

Great couple of weeks for Asiamet.

The company has finally got it's head around the comms in terms of sequence, timing, much better written RNS updates, expectation management etc. and look at the results...

The interview by TM yesterday was exceptional, especially the carefully orchestrated flagging of Beutong and its lack of value in the share price - then bang, the Beutong drilling update and additional corporate broker firepower all aimed at maximising value for shareholders - awesome stuff.

Having been here a few years and having bought many many millions based primarily on Beutong in the early days then its very gratifying to see this world class asset finally starting to shine but we absolutely haven't seen anything yet.....

In the interim , the emergence of BKM and BKZ as a likely linked world class deposit has been a huge bonus and will underpin the financing efforts moving forwards.

My target remains 30p by the end of 2018 if we are not taken out and 50p+ if we are, beyond that the dream is to make to annual dividends on a rolling development asset base in the region of 5p-10p per share per year - entirely viable.

I know a number of holders with holdings of >3m shares, all of whom are very well researched and I don't believe will flinch at these levels thus, alongside ii holdings such as JPM, and the management , provides a very solid base that will further underpin the price up to the point of fair market value.

So, onwards to the BKM BFS now pinned down to June - exciting stuff.

I think the copper price taking a (hopefully temporary) tumble isn't helping the rise....Yes I know investors look a year or two forward, but traders don't, and remembering that 75% of all trades are algos which are probably linked to the copper price, then it does have a short term effect IMO.

littlemadam,
the only other AIM share comparable to ARS imo is IQE, which, despite the current bear raid, will be £8 plus in a couple of years (now 127p).

Following the bullish signals of the last few days, you could not find a better looking chart.

Peter Bird, Asiamet's Chief Executive Officer commented:

"This appointment also reflects the growing level of interest from corporate and institutional investors in the Company and the concurrent need to provide increased research coverage, which in Liberum's case is from a market leading analyst."

Sounds more like corporate activity which is very bullish but if there was a placing it sounds like an institutional placing at a decent price which is also bullish.

My view is more slanted towards the corporate activity angle for what it is worth.
