Well to dive in I’ve long held the view the only show in town is DOID taking us out when it suits them. Which will be when interest rates and inflation drop, copper takes off and we’ve spent more money advancing the pre construction work.
I suspect they’ll be delighted with the share price floundering - unlike us they aren’t here to buy and sell shares.

I suspect we’ll need another placing towards the end of the year and then they’ll take the lot maybe next year.

I wonder what those low ball offers TM laughed away were for compared to the placing price he’s happy to give DOID?!

I might have a look to see if I can buy DOID shares because they’re going to get KSK for a right bargain and have the contacts and firepower to get it to construction.

Are you saying it is DOID's strategy to Bleed Asiamet dry? If so, what does that mean and what is their end game?

Means nothing to you, would be more accurate but thanks for stating that you don't know what you're doing. As for DOID being well funded - what's that got to do with them bleeding you dry? What was the share price when they got involved? 2.5p? You can get 0.5p for them now. They have done a great job. What a clown! Lol

What I'm trying to say is you can't simply walk into a tropical rainforest and start constructing high tech complicated buildings without doing some prep work first, and I reckon making access roads into the site would be handy also.

You say they haven’t even applied for financing yet. I’m not sure exactly what’s meant by “applied”;, but the 30th October RNS said

“Pathway meetings for completion of prospective Lead Bank credit committee approvals have been held and remain ongoing. All parties are focused on delivering this initial approval before end of this calendar year”.

The latest RNS said they had

“been actively engaged with a proposed Lead Bank to progress the requirements needed to achieve first stage credit approval for the project as early as possible in the New Year”.

So it seems the October prediction was blown massively off course. Perhaps because the potential lead bank guided they weren’t impressed. They also referenced a first meeting with another bank. It’s all an exercise in delay.

On a side note Mr there's no money left and I know everything about global finance, BUMA have just received a financing facility of some US 750 million. So whilst you're salivating over arcm's 67% of, ummm, we'll nothing yet, you may want to consider that there's plenty of dosh in Indonesia!

The game's not over yet, kiddo. But it quite frankly beggars belief that the usual drongos say that they can't get debt finance, when they haven't even applied for it yet! Come back with your inane drivel if and when the bank says no do one you muppets. But if the bank say right on cowboy here's the dosh, then I expect we won't be seeing your kind around here any more. LoL !

Sad show - as the market closes with this at an all time low and you peppering the bb with inane waffle about getting the locals to sort a situation out that your bod seemingly can't, take a look at your p&l, try not to cry, and think of me forecasting this a year ago! ROFL LOL LMFAO

Anyway this is Sepon 2.0 with smartphones and a vastly different macro environmentIMHO! Nobody thought building a mine in Laos would work, but they did it how? By getting the local community on board! Hello !! And they built a truly world class mine! Look at the people involved, they all work for Asiamet ! Tony has discovery credits for Sepon, board members Dominic Heaton helpd build it, Dazza the CEO worked there and Mr Ashish Gupta was an investor. HELLO ? Sepon 2.0 anyone? Plus they did the same at the Martabe gold mine LoL !! Just my humble opinion of course!

I have felt for some time that any deal was out of the window, due to the very low market cap. No company is going to offer a decent price for any of their assets while they can see the whole company is worth less that £20M (now actually around £16.9M). This just kills off any chance of an offer that the company could accept. TM mentioned some time ago in an interview, that the company had received low ball bids, and the price was much higher at that time. The big problem is that I doubt the directors have any idea as to how to get the price up.

They won't need to do another FS as this one still isn't finished LoL as the Dazzler is still talking about mine design and the location of the heap leach pad in the latest update at year end ! This is like a rolling FS, maybe just input some fresh numbers and bingo Bob's your uncle like, just my humble opinion of course!

Good post as usual Mostyn but it seems Asiamet can't even close a door let alone any part of a mining deal ! Maybe they think their mineral field is too boss and the absolute guvnor and they don't want to close rubbish deals, or maybe they really are just absolute pants at making deals LoL who was it who said never put a geologist in charge maybe add in a mining operations and metallurgical expert in that also.

I agree it’s no better or worse but the writing has been on the wall for while that they can’t get it funded. Have they appointed a lead bank yet (whatever that means) and what happened at the very first stage credit meeting? If they don’t get it funded how long before they need another FS? Either way where are the funds coming to keep the lights on in the meantime?

And if there was a massive buyer I’m sure there would be lots of speculation someone is the know, so that must work both ways.

It's interesting what someone obviously making a distressed sale, and a subsequent price fall will do to the discussion. The company is no better and no worse than it was a week ago. Nearly all juniors are being hit and I'm not aware of any AIM copper company making very positive headlines.

At some stage when the expected copper shortage hits the market (some expect late 2024 to early 2025) the situation could be quite different, and projects that currently have difficulty being financed will look a lot different. If nothing changes in the financing situation, then I suspect governments will need to get involved in one way or another to secure supplies.

While the current price looks miserable, the chart suggests that there isn't much downside as it's currently hugely oversold. Asiamet isn't dead yet.

AIM is full of nob head CEO pumping soil and grab samples and the docile flocks think bonanza grab samples and rock chips are actually diamond core and mine able LoL these muppets never mention drilling, but fair play to the likes of ARCM as they do tiny drilling but only assay one meter samples after a circa 18 month wait last time out, and several years before only a 4.3 meter assay. What happened to the great bear ethos of sampling core from top to bottom? Anyway at least Asiamet actually try and fail to do things right ROFLMFAO just some musings and all imho of course and do one if you don't agree !
