15/12/2023 09:13 | I believe we'll see a large commodities rally in the next 6 months. Metals have bottomed in my view and will outperform. Small caps will lag the big boys but will participate. This is the time to buy small cap miners. | mreasygoing
15/12/2023 08:45 | $6 may be optimistic but I can see $4.50 within six months From memory that produces a NAV of over $250m for BKM.Yesterday may well have been the final bottom...... | 2lb
15/12/2023 08:41 | I'm expecting a rally in copper to $6 in the coming few quarters. Asiamet will be in hot demand for investors. | mreasygoing
15/12/2023 08:25 | @dorsrt I’m confused as you’ve simultaneously said I’m wrong to say they haven’t started talking to other banks, but that the RNS confirming the same is right because we still haven't appointed a lead bank yet. So I’m confused as to why you also claim we are talking to other banks? At the beginning of October you said you were confident the entire funding process would be complete within 3-6 months. Has your understanding of the timeframes changes since that prediction? | adw198
15/12/2023 07:41 | ADW, I believe that comment was actually correct, as they believed at the time the lead bank would had been signed off imminently, then they would had started speaking with other banks thereafter. The smaller lenders always come after the lead bank. | dorset64
14/12/2023 22:08 | @Dorset the 30th October said “we will shortly commence engaging with senior Indonesian banks most likely to join the BKM project debt finance consortium”. It’s possible that process has now begun but I suspect not because the lead bank hasn’t been appointed and the initial credit approval that was targeted for September then December has now been pushed into next year. | adw198
14/12/2023 16:10 | I recall TM stating in one of his interviews that if the price remained at the current level (then over 1p) he considered a takeover almost a certainty. I believe he also stated they had already received low ball bids. In spite of this I find it hard to believe that in practice a takeover will happen, largely due to the appallingly low share price. Aeturenum were going to float BKM/KSK for $160M (approx 7p+ per share). DOID were going to buy a 51% share in KSK for the equivalent of around 2p per share. This was just KSK. Beutong is much bigger, and the directors have stated both have huge exploration upside. I would think the directors would consider anything less than about 8p per share to be totally unacceptable. With the share price at 0.75p mid, who is going to bid anything near that figure. The key, of course, is what DOID would do. I want it to happen but I just can't see it. | mostyn
14/12/2023 15:46 | Andrew, you'll be pleased to know I've not gone anywhere and, at the same time, still believe with the assets we have, this most definitely will get built. You say it won't so we'll just have to disagree there. You are, imo, also wrong regarding the fact you say they are not talking to other banks, as I think/hope they are BUT none of them would come on board until AFTER the lead bank has been instilled. Its a frustratingly long wait but that's how these things work, lead bank first and only then the support finance comes on board. Apart from these points I can't disagree with much else that's been said as I've long been championing the removal of Manini but, at the same time appreciate that's not going to happen until either the finance is agreed, or were taken over, which ever comes first. | dorset64
14/12/2023 15:16 | hope so, just topped up a bit to hopefully bring my average down... come on - let the santa rally begin | jimbo310813
14/12/2023 15:13 | Brave call , though one on balance I'd agree with | 2lb
14/12/2023 13:08 | Exactly, and even if a bank did want to lend us $120m they’d want to know where the rest of the funds were coming from - which the company couldn’t answer as there’s no strategy. They’ve got 1 indicative offer from an Offtaker but it won’t be for the other £$120m and even if it was, at what price per lb? My contention is it’ll either be a discount to the current price or a discount to the spot price at the time of delivery. I recognise my old sparring partner Dorset (before he sulked off in embarrassment) sees it differently and he assures he’s an expert in these things so hopefully I’m wrong. A bank / offtaker would also presumably want to know where Asiamets next few rounds of funding would come from to be confident we wouldn’t go bust. It’s blindingly obvious we’re not going build anything and it’s just a case of when DOID sweep us up and for how much. I’ve long since hoped for 2p but even that is looking extremely optimistic. | adw198
14/12/2023 10:17 | How's your average looking now Bradshaw? If only someone could have told you this would happen ten months ago...Oh well, how sad, never mind | not guilty
13/12/2023 14:02 | In the wrong job. | m5
13/12/2023 13:15 | Reward for failure , it's been the Asiamet management mission statement since 2016. | 2lb
13/12/2023 13:01 | £500k for further value destruction, him and TM, what a dream team. | m5
13/12/2023 11:41 | Nice work if you can get it. | bsg
13/12/2023 10:53 | Come on that's supposition. They're probably just happy to be taking their salaries. Like they always have. | bsg
13/12/2023 10:51 | All being engineered between management and DOID to transfer ownership at cheapest possible price. Management get a big fat bonus , shareholders get screwed. This management team is a disgrace. | 2lb |
