I didn't think I would see people selling at this level. I actually thought around 0.90-1.0p would be the bottom, specially with the cash concerns out of the way. It just shows what a lack of news on actual progress will do in a very thin market. Even now at 0.75-0.80p it doesn't feel like we have hit the bottom. It tends to make a nonsense of the statements by the directors of how undervalued the shares were at much higher levels. I never thought I would accept 2p on a bid, but it's beginning to look better each day.

What price for a sale though? 2p? Generous

The only positive news anyone wants is a company sale, this management team is simply incapable of creating value for shareholders in any other way.

Based on the lack of volume in the market generally, and the specific lack of interest in Asiamet, it looks like we are heading for another all time low. This doesn't look like changing until we get some positive news.

With inflationary pressures still hitting mining projects, the engineering work going on is likely needed to give the banks confidence that the construction costs aren't going to run away with the project. This is something that is happening elsewhere, and was mentioned in the interview on copper that I posted a week or so ago.

Asiamet back into hibernation having banked the DOID cash. Same old same old , full of it leading up to a discounted placing then crawl back under a rock once it's done. End of year report will be hilarious this year , how much BS can they cram into a single RNS. Hopeless

Why don't you share your thoughts? I'm trying to get some discussion going but unfortunately you're a bunch spanners.

As well as being horribly under researched, not on just mining stonks but life in general, Adw198 is the only fella I've ever comes across who's a full on save the planet tree hugger who actually genuinely despises the planet and seemingly everything and everyone on it.

So apparently I'd much rather "them" ..."destroy" Beutong if it makes me a few quid. Do you think modern mining operations destroy? And on the balance of things, is the destruction worth it? Or should we go back to living in caves? You may look like a caveman, kiddo, but I like bikes and planes and cars and restaurants and phones and computers and gyms and football stadiums and ships and electronics and electricity and solar panels and wind turbines and ovens that cook me food etc etc etc

I dont know about the forestry classification etc - but I do agree with your description of there being a gigantic problem there.

I'm not denying that there was a protest or that the protest is not a gigantic problem. What I'm saying is the technical report says that the Beutong project area is 100% within the Forrest classification APL, which is not protected forest and open pit mining is allowed! But I believe that 63.8 % of the license area is in protected forest, but where the copper is is not protected, and no exploration has ever been done in the protected area. All imho and please correct me if I'm wrong !

I’m highlighting that since the 6000 people protested we’ve done nothing there. Perhaps it’s covid again but my suspicion is we can’t overcome the local opposition / ESG challenges. But you want it both ways telling us how great our ESG credentials are at KSK but then dismiss Beutong. I’m calling out the hypocrisy but perhaps the 6000 people will read your link, all change their minds and we’ll finally find the fictional Chinese money.

And it hasn't gone unnoticed that you're on the side if the tree huggers here whilst openly stating you hate the environment.

I invite one to read the mineral tenement and land tenure status section on the 2019 Beutong Resource Estimate. Scroll down to page 36, have a read, then get back to me. Buddy.

No idea to be honest. Perhaps if anything had happened there since the aforementioned protests we might know more. Apparently it was going to be a focus H2 this year.. :)

So you're assuming the license area is in the pristine protected forest? Are you sure, buddy?

You don’t care about the environment in Indonesia and neither does anyone else on this board. You’d much rather they destroy Beutong if it makes you a few quid. Same here, I’m just not dishonest about it.

They decided to change the mine plan due to inflation. Do keep up. Why don't you apply to some government to work in their environment permit office? Walk in on your first day and say no one cares about the environment ROFLMFAO

The 2022 FS update was “expected to be completed early in H2 2022”.

It eventually came out in May23 and you’ve just described it as “rushed out”. Brilliant commentary.

The way I see it nothing can happen until Dazza has finished his little optimisation project! Personally I think the FS was rushed out on order to please moaning shareholders, which seems to be 99.99 % of the base basically all expect me ROFLMFAO.Now I know the modelling takes time, designing the pit and the production schedule! Basically where to dig first here or there! I'm sure all the experts online would have had it wrapped up in a morning but here we are!

I think the optimisation is largely finished and maybe that will be included in end of year update. Then maybe binding MOU's signed with construction firms in Q1 ? Big question mark for me is they still haven't signed a deal with the owners of the forrest corridor, which is the final piece in the puzzle for the permit! Hoping Q1 or Q2 for that !Just imho and DYOR!!
