08/11/2018 16:36 | Yes drill results will do no harm - and certainly will help sentiment. But I think it's going to take a combination of things. First and foremost is for Tony & Peter to rebuild the trust of the shareholders. Delay after delay has simply not been good enough. Under promise and over deliver is going to be the key. An investor meet-up / conference call (maybe when they are in the London Mines & Money later this month) would be a good start. The biggest catalyst however would be announcing a partner for Beutong - if can get 1 of the big boys into play that would certainly be a huge positive. | calum
08/11/2018 16:32 | The fact we are back drilling is great. Plenty of news flow to come around BKM and potential wider ksk exploration. Add in potential partner discussions on BKM, Beutong or the licence on Baroi we have a lot to look forward too. | kjawoogie
08/11/2018 16:23 | Good to see some positive PR. So far positive drilling activity has had limited and at times negative effect on the share price With share price being so low now I’m hoping positive drilling data will help share price rise but I’m not betting on it. Anyone else have any thoughts on the matter? | jackbal
08/11/2018 16:15 | A tweet from Asiamet, there is also a picture on the tweet @AsiaMet_Res_ARS #ARS BKM Infilling Drilling holes to provide critical information to incorporate into the BKM mine schedule & fold into existing BFS data have been designed In excess of 2000m metres will be drilled, details are being finalised & our drill teams are being mobilised to begin work | snickerdog

08/11/2018 08:52 | The big difficulty here is that the company directors have decided not to be open and honest with shareholders. It is unacceptable that we receive more detailed accurate assessments of the company's prospects from posters such as MT and Dorset64 than the poorly spun partial information we receive from the company itself. It should not require PI conversations with Flowcomms Ltd for information highly relevant to investors to be put into the public domain. Why do company management teams ever consider such an approach to be a good idea? All IMHO as somebody who would still be invested here if I believed management to be trustworthy. | shanklin
08/11/2018 08:06 | Thanks for the, "ARS will have secured finance and built a starter mine at BKM and the share price will be around £1." That is what I am focused on. Beutong will be the icing on the cake, but if the Chinese move in anything could happen. | hawks11
07/11/2018 21:43 | Either way, they’ll be over in a couple of weeks or so for mines and money. I’m sure they’ll be addressing shareholder questions as usual | mr roper
07/11/2018 21:42 | ARS has good copper assets but it is not a producer, nor is it, as yet, even financed to become a producer. So it is a high risk, highly geared copper play. All things being equal, in two years time the copper price will be twice what it is today, ARS will have secured finance and built a starter mine at BKM and the share price will be around £1. In the meantime however, the extra demand due to electric vehicles is still some way off and today the copper market is roughly in equilibrium. The speculative pressure which lifted the price to $3 for the first half of this year has evaporated and the market has reverted to norm. Three months can make a big difference. In early 2019 copper could be at $3 again. Equally, it could drop further. It largely depends on US/China trade negotiations. But further out, the EV effect will inevitably start to hit, whatever the state of world trade. You can't have EV's without using extra copper and the world is not geared up to supply it. Hence copper prices will rise inexorably...but not yet. Sorry to keep saying it but patience is required. It's a long play. | horneblower
07/11/2018 21:17 | Dow up 550 points. Money flowing back in. | aim0raider
07/11/2018 21:11 | Good post Aim Raider, let's now allow the management do what they do best. Hopefully the copper price may even do most of the heavy lifting for us | snickerdog
07/11/2018 16:43 | I think it would CC, unless you are only dealing with a smallish holding.Another penny or so downside seems irrelevant now , may as well wait for some possible rabbits to emerge from the darkness of the inside of the hat | 2lb
07/11/2018 16:35 | 2LB - in light of recent experience and director performance would it be so unthinkable to sell? | charles clore
07/11/2018 15:59 | Quite so Art - leaving it in the hands of third parties hasnt gone so well it's fair to say, whilst accepting full repsonsbikity at all times for any investment decsions, I don't much like being, at best, inadvertantly mislead , nor am I partial to the current mushroom treatment. I dont personally think there is much alternative here for anyone at present to do much other than hold and wait. | 2lb
07/11/2018 15:39 | 2LB (17887) "invest further in businesses I can directly influence." That's by way of being a wise old saying and I've heard it said in various ways: invest your time, energy and money where you have the most ability to influence/improve the outcome. | arf dysg
07/11/2018 14:37 | I agree Mount Teide | snickerdog
07/11/2018 14:24 | A couple of months before the bfs news I made a prediction that the price would go to the 8p range. Some said it wouldn't but it did just that. Now I am thinking that it might revisit the 4p range before it picks up again. I am avoiding buying at the moment but would be topping up if it got near to 4p. I am just wondering if others are selling at this point in the hope of getting back in at a lower price. | charles clore
07/11/2018 14:16 | The low transactional volumes are currently impacting small and mid cap markets more generally - most companies in these sectors have seen transaction volumes drop substantially over the last few weeks in the run up to the commencement of Iranian oil sanctions and US mid terms. I suspect the situation will now reverse over the weeks ahead and particularly into the year end. | mount teide
07/11/2018 14:05 | Personally I doubt what any of us post here will influence share price. The majority of posts here earlier this year were extremely positive and look where we are now.... | jackbal
07/11/2018 13:59 | Bit of cynicism always healthy MTI thought it was pretty straightforward- haven't bought or sold an ARS for a while now as have genuinely lost interest in it from that perspective once it became clear there was something amiss ref the BFSFocus now on non listed portfolio, had a lot of capital free up , thought about adding here , decided not to and to invest further in businesses I can directly influence.I think current volumes here speak for themselves - no issue as stated that investment here is going to come good but I don't feel like it's under any sort of control for now | 2lb
07/11/2018 13:46 | 2LB - sorry to be a cynic but - as you're someone with an Advfn posting history made up of circa 95%+ Asia Met posts and have previous 'form' for quietly selling down large Asia Met trading positions while disingenuously making posts suggesting to others that the share price at the time was a buying opportunity - what very reasonably might spring to mind for many readers is the question: is this just more of the same, but this time in reverse in an attempt to buy back a trading position more cheaply? | mount teide |
