07/7/2021 11:20 | A typical AHT move on opening. A close yesterday just above s/r at 5400. Opened with a gap and punched straight through mid 5450's where it had been resisted and then through 5500. All done with continuous algo trading small buys gradually increasing the share price | bracke
07/7/2021 10:57 | LOL In these markets who knows it may be. | fenners66
07/7/2021 10:45 | I filtered him some time ago, but could it be trt's incessant, inane, ramping posts? | perfido
07/7/2021 10:37 | What is the sudden catalyst this morning? | fenners66
07/7/2021 08:50 | Looking good for £60 very soon. | trt
06/7/2021 11:11 | Good day fenners I have followed the PET threads for many years. I was a s/holder at one time and doubled my money with them not many can say that! Given that the company has been in existence for 21 years and as far as I am aware have not actually done any business in that time why would anyone think they are going to now! The fiasco with the CP just about sums up the company and BoD. The latest initiative by some shareholders to obtain information from the company was interesting. I did ponder whether the company would be able to answer without making the information available to all s/holders otherwise it would be 'inside information'. In the meantime I presume the BoD will keep the company afloat all the time they can squeeze something out of it. | bracke
05/7/2021 20:15 | New closing high ? For those with an interest in these things.... the PET threads have what is purported to be a letter from one of the directors... explosive stuff... | fenners66
01/7/2021 08:32 | Onwards and upwards getting nearer to £60 now. Got to be in it to win it no point just watching the price go up day by day got to invest to make a profit. | trt
01/7/2021 00:18 | Thanks perfido. | fenners66
28/6/2021 17:35 | re fenners 'I would answer that but I fear he's got me filtered....' ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Not yet fenners, not yet :-) I enjoy reading your posts, must be ten years or more now... | perfido
27/6/2021 14:57 | the chart tells the story for AHT and again a NOR situation and likely to go higher - the trend is your friend . However ,it does not seem justified by fundamentals and quite a miserly dividend but who cares ! ( smile ) | arja
25/6/2021 18:47 | Filter you fenners! I'm sure perfido would never do that. | bracke
25/6/2021 18:42 | I would answer that but I fear he's got me filtered.... | fenners66
25/6/2021 18:39 | perfido Yes it does become a little wearing. Filter indeed! I have considered a begging letter to fenners but pride and ego prevent; besides fenners is far too engaged on matters elsewhere including buybacks. Following on from what I posted earlier about the markets I thought the following article was interesting. | bracke
25/6/2021 16:59 | Hi bracke, Sorry to hear that your 'AHT shorts' have not delivered, but hopefully your trades in other areas are still helping balance the books. You cannot be the only trader who has been caught out by AHTs surprising, meteoric, unstoppable rise, take heart I fear it cannot last forever despite what others may post, although I have now been forced to use the 'filter' option for some of the more outrageous, annoying posts.. In the meantime, a begging letter to fenners might be worth a try, I am sure he has a good heart, generous to a fault I hear.. . | perfido
25/6/2021 16:15 | Share price will move higher next week along with the market as a whole. Could well see £60 by end of next week. Got to be in it to win it no point watching from the sidelines as the share price goes up and up. | trt
25/6/2021 15:14 | Well done bracke, good call. The Joe Biden Infrastructure announcement apparently provided impetus and was welcome, but there is plenty of time for the 'bipartisan group of lawmakers' to exert their power and disrupt the market. I would expect AHT to be quite volatile going forward, particularly as we are now breaking new ground. Having sold down over time, I now find that my residual AHT holding has assumed a far greater percentage of my portfolio than planned, but I am content to hold on for the present :-) Did you manage to close your shorts without too much damage? | perfido
25/6/2021 11:30 | When I posted yesterday, "BUT! we know AHT likes to surprise by putting in a large candle to gap over resistance." I wasn't quite expecting todays opening! Yesterday was a similar size rise on volume of 647,000. The daily average volume is 1.136 Million. I will not be surprised if the volume today is a similar amount to yesterday's AHT P/E 34.70 URI P/E 25.00 I almost forgot....there is a gap back to 5300. What chance it will be filled? | bracke
25/6/2021 10:28 | If they want it at the moment , my sell price has risen to 6800 | fenners66
25/6/2021 09:42 | It's obvious where this companies fortunes lie.I'm pretty certain now that the colonials will be eyeing up Ashtead, question is when.Off topic Ken Morrison will be turning in his grave, two generations to see off another example of British entrepreneurial spirit.RIP. | riley109
25/6/2021 08:52 | Just opened up advfn and have seen the share price movement - the BBC would not repeat what I said aloud at this time of day ! | fenners66
25/6/2021 07:49 | 24/06/21 US stocks rallied after President Joe Biden said he had reached a deal with a bipartisan group of lawmakers on an infrastructure plan. . | perfido |
