19/12/2023 13:04 | Govt yields in industrialized countries have fallen a lot in the last 6 months. It's only a matter of time until asset allocators start investing more in EM. We may have reached an inflection point on the AUM. | woozle1
18/12/2023 09:40 | He'll sell when EM is back in fashion | woozle1
17/12/2023 18:20 | At some point Coombes will want to cash out…..until then no deal….. Even then he will want a premium….which may be difficult to justify in a business facing structural fee pressure. | 1jat
07/12/2023 14:27 | How is it going to be taken over with Coombs owning so many shares and fully aware we are at the beginning of an EM up cycle? | valuehurts
14/11/2023 18:15 | Hold - gone up today. Maybe a take over | maxplus2
06/11/2023 15:43 | Sell or hold? | davethehorse
02/11/2023 13:52 | Yes and no: I already hold for a third party; but it's also been on my personal buy list for a while - though what to sell? I like the exposure to EMs here but I'm already overweight financials and asset managers. Would probably need to sell some POLR to get in here; but then why would I do that?! Spoiled for income choices in these markets. | brucie5
02/11/2023 11:59 | Brucie5, did you get in before ex div?.... | davethehorse
02/11/2023 11:30 | Looks like a re rate is underway, wait for the broker upgrades to follow....;-) | davethehorse
02/11/2023 10:49 | Who picking up these cheap XD shares today, great day to go ExDiv, could be in for a very nice rebound in share price here ;-) | davethehorse
02/11/2023 08:41 | 10 year treasury yields starting to fall....Great news for Ashmore Group... | davethehorse
02/11/2023 08:34 | Ah, that explains... | brucie5
02/11/2023 08:00 | XD this morning | cwa1
01/11/2023 13:53 | Taking a similar view to you CWA1 ;-) | davethehorse
01/11/2023 13:34 | Took a few more at 168 ish earlier too, happy to hold and wait, could be a great time to buy and hold these imo, gl | davethehorse
01/11/2023 13:24 | FWIW, I took some earlier this morning, principally for the dividend but also because the share price looks bombed out. Clearly it can and will fall further due to the XD tomorrow-but I'm hoping that a sniff of anything positive here would reverse the trend and I'll be paid a decent rental whilst I wait... | cwa1
01/11/2023 11:00 | Divi hunters....where are you, 7% plus, div ex div on Thursday... | davethehorse
31/10/2023 08:57 | Looks like the bottom may be in here, gl if your investing, great opportunity imo | davethehorse
31/10/2023 07:37 | Happy to hold after they go ex div on Thursday. 12.1p divi, paid in Dec. Well oversold imo. | davethehorse
30/10/2023 22:24 | Urmm... because you GET the dividend that way☺️ | cwa1
30/10/2023 22:21 | Why buy now when you can buy after xd? | maxplus2
30/10/2023 13:42 | Bought in @171p, surely a bounce on the cards here soon plus the divi, gl | davethehorse
13/10/2023 14:26 | I guess the larger question is about how much the dividend will need to be cut. The £1-2 corridor can be brutal and in current circs may well get oversold. Large divi payers have become particularly liable to falls as the market fears that divi cuts will cause further selling. And so it goes - the list of examples is almost endless in current market. At some stage this will be excellent value, if not now... | brucie5
13/10/2023 13:30 | I see that the only short more than 0.5% of share capital is Wellington with 0.79%, | cerrito |
