16/12/2010 08:44 | bobby yep i agree, poped my divi back in last week, and that was questionable, glad i did now, still have 100k(shares) at 16p, so still making a bit. I took, 250k (shares) out at 16.5p last month and THOUGHT i had seen something in the short term, boy has that backfired!!!!!!!!!!! PDYOR | philmac56
16/12/2010 08:31 | Think you missed your chance phil, up 1.5p | bobby.ifa
16/12/2010 08:02 | So!, will we now have the slide that we usually get, this time of th season, that is the million dollar question, if history is anything to go by, that will be the case. However, i feel that the company has so much going for it, that it needs to shrug of the past and show it can progress. But, being greedy, i would like to see it fall back to 14-15p so i can then jump back in!!! PDYOR IMHO | philmac56
16/12/2010 07:17 | All breath a sigh of relief. Online trade is booming. Interim Management Statement TIDMALY RNS Number : 0366Y Ashley (Laura) Hldgs PLC 16 December 2010 LAURA ASHLEY HOLDINGS PLC Interim Management Statement 16 December 2010 Laura Ashley Holdings Plc announces its Interim Management Statement for the 19 weeks to 11 December 2010. In the first 19 weeks of the second half to 11 December 2010, total UK retail sales increased by 1.3% year-on-year (like-for-like sales increased by 2.7%). We have opened 2 new stores and closed 12 this year and continue to streamline our store portfolio in an effort to optimise profitability. Although we are experiencing slower LFL growth in the second half due to the impact of a sluggish economy and adverse weather conditions, the underlying LFL sales growth for the year to date is 4.6%. In the same reporting period, the E-Commerce channel recorded growth of 28.7% as we continue to enhance and improve our online presence. Despite the current economic uncertainty and adverse weather conditions in the UK, we remain confident that full year trading will be ahead of the Board's expectations. 05/12/2010 18:02 | WGB trading update makes good reading.Refers to positive trends in the luxury goods market, highest ever sales of wallpaper and fabrics , record sales and profits in the last few weeks. Augurs well for ALY in a similar trade. I have bought a few more. | scotch broth
03/12/2010 10:30 | Don't know about finding a level, but last 6 yrs have always shown a drop from around now to mid feb!!! Being selfish, and sold out, i would welcome the drop, to enable me to jump back in, hopefully around the 14-15p mark Sorry, but like us all we need to make money!!! | philmac56
03/12/2010 09:41 | Seems to have found a level. Bad weather should affect shops but maybe they will see a corresponding increase in internet sales? | brownie69

19/11/2010 19:31 | Last year there was an update in mid December. The VAT increase in January 2011 make retailing one for the brave thereafter. | scotch broth

11/11/2010 07:52 | kille i bought into TT when they 1st went plc as a founder member (Thomson). Don't ask me why did not stay too long with them, made a profit though!! I have never returned. But on many occassions have been back & forth into Airtours/mytravel and now TCG, always left with a profit!!! Made a big killing on TBI just before 9/11, then ploughed all back and benefited again when they were bought out. Good hunting PDYOR | philmac56
10/11/2010 19:02 | Cheers Phil but I already hold too many TT. Regards. | killieboy
