The article lays out the Mahenge graphite project, good read for potential investors before main news items arrive.

"In September 2021, the Company announced the formal confirmation and receipt of the Mining Licence (ML/007744/2020) for the Mahenge Graphite Project from the Tanzanian Ministry of Energy and Minerals."

"The main focus going forward is gaining project development finance and binding off take agreements to bring the project to production."

So what progress since obtaining the mining licence last September? And where are they hoping to get off-take agreements from?

Our neighbours have yet to agree capex finance to build there mine. They have raised $50m Aus recently through dilution /fundraise to start work streams. They have an offtake on initial mine stage 1 for LOM. They have agreed gov %. They have made significant progress that we can lift and repeat. Albeit that RNS doesn't inform me about what MB has progressed since mining licence beyond already known knowns.

I have a horrible feeling that they might still be waiting to get confirmation of an off-take agreement from the Chinese that they were talking to about 2 years ago. I sincerely hope I'm wrong though as we'll wait for ever if that's the case.

I believe that they need an off-take agreement in order to secure the financing that they need to proceed.

Why have they not managed to find finance yet when there is such demand for the resource? Our neighbours have.

There is £2m cash in the bank so no dilution and MMs just taking the price down without any big sells
