01/9/2020 09:34 | These buys are very small so unlikely to be with shareholders who know more than the rest of us. Point is the note from PG and Shareprophets coverage is bound to give some momentum buys and I think that's what these are. | ![]() bigglesbingham
01/9/2020 09:31 | Not much volume, but maybe some folk have better information than the rest of us? Lunchtime announcement? I'd like to think so. | sonoftherock
01/9/2020 08:41 | SP is optimistic | ![]() kaos3
01/9/2020 08:20 | hmmm well the optimist in me is saying this is not a bad thing - if they had no progress to report then they could have done it at 7 - so fingers crossed for intra-day news | ![]() actonovator
01/9/2020 08:20 | I find it curious they haven't updated, they have after every other period. Could mean that news is very near so no point updating? | ![]() lottsgold
01/9/2020 08:17 | It will come, I'm keen to see the details, must be soonish, sometimes they have issued an RNS later in the day | ![]() 1candc
01/9/2020 08:12 | This is all fine but isn't the point. It isn't the fact there is nothing to report that is the issue, it is the fact there is nothing to report at the point they had previously set an expectation it would be reported, and there is no update. I am sure people will defend it using specific wording from the rns but I think it is fair to say the majority on here interpreted it to mean we would have at least an update by end Aug, and therefore it is fair to say the rns built up an expectation of that. To not provide an update or explain why isn't a great message imo but maybe I'm old fashioned :). Doesn't change the outlook of course, just a frustration. | kirbs4
01/9/2020 08:05 | if everything ok - RNS at 7h if under rush and stress - middle of the day trading - a no go PS I have my thoughts on exporting the capital - gold cant be. geopolitics, restrictions, curreny depreciation ..... dont shoot me down - it is reality imho status quo atm is a wise thing to have imho | ![]() kaos3
01/9/2020 07:54 | in a way I like them - they are probably not liking delay as much as we dont - but they do keep their mouth shut about the real reason - which sometimes is hard and noble thing to do | ![]() kaos3
01/9/2020 07:34 | Makes you wonder if we'll even get an update today, whichever way you dissect the wording of the previous rns it built up a clear expectation that we would have an update end Aug. | kirbs4
01/9/2020 07:29 | I had expected a 7:00 a.m. RNS but the day is still young..... | ![]() jaf1948
01/9/2020 00:11 | What's that I hear you say? £50m to £1Bn company? That would give us a share price of er, let's see.... about a pound. Yes, I'll take it thanks very much! | ![]() charles clore
31/8/2020 23:27 | Tavsan, damn predicted text | ![]() pauliewonder
31/8/2020 23:26 | Completely agree. I think that news could be almost as important as the JV, especially if the results are very good, particularly for a low cost open pit mine (in my view). Don't want the additional time and risk of underground mining unless the grades are bonanza.Salinbas is a challenge and I don't think AAU doing it with Proccea is a good idea, when compared to other solutions such as brining in Ozaltin. That definitely reduces risk IMV. But there is lots of gold in those hills and it will find itseld out one way or another. Ya Sam can get us to 50k oz pa. in the right market and conditions, that can create me a billion pound company.....just saying. | ![]() pauliewonder
31/8/2020 18:49 | No cyberhub they have already said as much. | ![]() soulsauce
31/8/2020 18:44 | Does anyone think that given the rocketing gold price, one reason for the delay in confirming the deal could be that Ariana are seeking to negotiate better terms? | ![]() cyberbub
31/8/2020 18:27 | We if it drops sure they'd be swallowed up | ![]() bigglesbingham
31/8/2020 17:11 | Whilst I see your point biggles, I wonder whether any further delay in the JV news will be counter-productive to the share price and nullify any gains potentially to be made from good deep drilling news. It’s a fine call. Frankly, I just wish the fickle minded holders of this share would just get some backbone (and more importantly give a bit more depth to their research) and understand that the share price trend will remain upwards simply because it has such strong fundamentals and mouth-watering potential. | pharmoutcomeszzz
31/8/2020 16:22 | Agree Biggles, we'll have the first tomorrow at 7.00, the second at 7.01 and the deal rns at 7.02. And Cyprus on Wednesday. | ![]() actonovator
31/8/2020 15:22 | It may sound strange to some on here but part of me would like the rns relating to the deal to come after positive rns's about deep drilling under kiziltepe and tarsvan. The deal news will create a good uplift in my opinion and I'd like the shareprice to be as high as possible so the uplift would apply to a bigger base. | ![]() bigglesbingham
31/8/2020 11:33 | The same article also had a section on GGP where the “buy between” range is also already history. | ![]() uknighted |
