18/3/2020 09:01 | Mcap is only down circa 2.5m | gaffer73
18/3/2020 09:00 | Time to hibernate whilst the world gathers it thoughts. Haha. | gaddy88
18/3/2020 08:54 | Yes but unless that materialises in sales of shares it shouldn't impact the share price so significantly... | kirbs4
18/3/2020 08:51 | Probably because gold is below $1500 | gaffer73
18/3/2020 08:49 | Unless the advfn app is missing a raft of trades there is absolutely no explanation for a 13% drop other than mm manipulation!Got far too cheap for me this morning so just added a few | kirbs4
18/3/2020 08:45 | I had a chat with Michael yesterday and he confirmed they were looking forward to announcing their Preliminaries next month which as we know will have benefited from higher gold prices. There is no news on the Due Diligence as yet, but everything, as far as he knows, ticks on as expected. That is reassuring. I think we can safely say that the new party, like all of us, is keen to obtain exposure to gold in these uncertain times. He didn't say this, but it is probably reasonable to assume that the Virus may be impacting on Consultants & Legal experts involved in bringing the package together and perhaps that is why we haven't had any more details on progress. As Biggles reported recently, he also mentioned to me that he had been invited to present to Brokers in London, bringing them up to speed with our developing story. The mine workers are mostly local so operations continue pretty well as expected. | plasybryn
17/3/2020 20:24 | Many thanks | erro
17/3/2020 19:53 | The new firm is cheaper and will managed the Accounts much more on a basis of as we go along, so no possible delays. I understand AAU has always found the relationship with KPMG a little strained and newly introduced reporting formats haven't made life any easier. The main Accounts were filled and adopted on time. The delay was only relating to Ariana Resources & Exploration. | plasybryn
17/3/2020 17:57 | Hi Paul - do you know specifically what the problem was with filing accounts? It’s the company’s responsibility to file accounts and they usually have nine months to do so, so I don’t understand why it would be KPMGs fault. It is unusual to move from a large accountancy firm to a medium one. | erro
17/3/2020 17:49 | I'd put a funny face but on the board it comes up as question mark | bigglesbingham
17/3/2020 16:45 | I assume KPMG were being there typical arrogant selves ie we are too big to treat you right. | bigglesbingham
17/3/2020 14:53 | I believe there have been problems with filing the accounts on time so a change of auditor goes with sorting that. | paul280i
17/3/2020 14:23 | Hmmm interesting. You also note that they say operating in Europe and not just Turkey. | soulsauce
17/3/2020 13:48 | Charles, agreed so I did! glad to be back in after a number of years out! | renniks2016
17/3/2020 13:36 | Change of Auditor RNS, wonder what the reason for that was. | thanksamillion
17/3/2020 11:05 | Biggles - if you keep adding at some point you’ll be required to make a bid for the company! I think you’re spot on though. Debt free next month | erro
17/3/2020 09:04 | If you can buy these at 2p it would seem rude not to! | charles clore
17/3/2020 08:15 | Absolutely that's why I've been adding here | bigglesbingham
17/3/2020 07:51 | Great time to be Capex debt free. Surely gold must respond very positively once the margin calls are behind us. | plasybryn
17/3/2020 07:46 | Yes very difficult times on many fronts but very exciting year ahead with huge opportunity to those that assess, have a pragmatic view and of course available funds. | bigglesbingham
17/3/2020 07:02 | Question is what would $30m get you in next decade at these investment levels ? ============= This is certainly something that needs to be considered, especially at this time when some very desirable projects, near shovel ready, might be available at a significant discount to their true value. | temujiin
16/3/2020 21:59 | BB I wasn’t being sarky. I thought your comment was well made. | ironstorm
16/3/2020 21:42 | Question is what would $30m get you in next decade at these investment levels ? I'd argue a lot!! But soon find out whether this situation deters the partner or encourages them to diversify into an asset which is going to realise its true worth in the next 12 months | bigglesbingham
16/3/2020 19:44 | You being sarky ? | bigglesbingham |
