I must say it would be amazing after years of teasing to be given a concrete and comprehensive report on Salinbas-Ardala and Project Leopard southern prospects. As others have said Kerim and Zack have been more than hinting at something exceptional in the Hot Gold Corridor for years. The Marianna world class discovery at Hot Maden seems ancient history now. Kerim kept saying it was too big for them on their own but he wanted to keep drilling to ensure they got a proper price. Then out of the blue we gave 23.5% away to Ozaltin on the basis they would invest £8m to prioritise its development. Was that 2.5 years ago? And we still aren't any the wiser regarding its potential or route to mining. Is it surprising the share price is where it is? Is it time for the Board to be more honest and straightforward? How can anyone have confidence when the few hints at timelines we are given aren't worth a jot?

Well done for trying to get there. How annoying for you. Are you going to attend the AGM?

One possible cause for the low market sentiment and consequent under valuation of the company is that being Turkey based they are head quartered in a country with an inflation rate of 78.6%. Yes Gold production is very profitable but to many would be investors investing in a Turkish company may be, albeit unjustly, considered too risky.

Don't disagree you should have seen Zac enthusing over Salinbas when I had lunch with him over at kizeltepe he couldn't contain his enthusiasm!!! He must have been so frustrated that we didn't have the funds to explore now he must be chomping at the bit (drill bit obviously) .

For a long time I have thought that Salinbas has always been the one that will be transformational for us, and Ardala would provide some copper and REM credits to compliment it further, a bit like what silver does at Kiziltepe, but now, there is a good chance that Ardala will be providing some exceptional stand along opportunities, all the chat about Venus ipo, Tavsan, WTR, Asgard etc, whilst fantastic, on the grand scale of things will be fairly insignificant for the share price short term compared to news on the above, very feasible for this to go from 1.5m oz to 3m on this drill campaign alone, plus huge upside potential at Ardala, ok only 23.5% ours, but that is a significant slice of a very big pie! And all the time revenue seeing it all take shape with no significant dilution, The rest is just icing on a very big cake. Aimho

Ha ha my view is that the news we are waiting on is only going to be value accretive so issue is when not if we get rnss which will improve fundamentals and shareprice. So to me it's common sense to add in these difficult times if monies allow. It's certainly something I'm trying to do. The money is in the bank as a buffer , work on tarsvan starts next month which tells me there's no way they won't find debt finance and I'm sure it's in the bag subject to outstanding items. Salinbas results would be nice saying bonanza results found we can hope. I'm sure they are there and with three drills there in H2 fills me with excitement. Anyway have a good weekend.

Last investor presentation on the website is over a year old! Not an ideal way to attract new potential investors....... this disparity between value and shareprice will persist until they get their act together, the ONLY thing that will move the price is attracting buyers. The 'jam tomorrow ' comments simply won't achieve that, it will take something a bit more professional.

Given that we were told that no new material information would be released is it any wonder that no-one turned up(not withstanding Renniks heroic efforts). We need to be turned on ...not turned off.( and in Renniks case turned round).

There has not even been a new presentation listed on their website.......can't believe they'd run an investor event without sharing the content.

Plas, you never know, they might have had requests from several interested parties, and by arranging this it made the best use of KS's time, who knows, but I doubt very much that it was on a whim or to defect from AGM ?

It wasn’t recorded, in person event, I registered with YJ to attend, but got held up in traffic as traveling from Exeter Thursday and turned around at Twickenham when I accepted I wouldn’t make it. If the recent UK Investor Show turnout is anything to go by it could have been a one on one thing! As that had an abysmal attendance. Fingers crossed that someone showed up!

Why would you try to organise an event like this when the AGM is so close. Did they hope to deflect investors away from attending the AGM?

on tavsan, further confusion in my mind is the interplay between the feasibility study which is not yet completed and the financing - afaik the fs is a key input to financing considerations so the bank will not finalise any loan commitments until the fs is completed. no way of telling but the woolly answers could suggest completion of a financing deal may be 3 or more months away yet.

if aau had insti investors on board i doubt they would be getting away with such lax comms on timelines, in fact no comms on timelines just vague statements of x months away which also changes from time to time.

whatever became of the shareholder event yesterday? anyone know?

Thanks konil.
Re' Apliki it keeps changing. Is it 12-15mths or 18 :-/ Thanks for correcting me on the plant being dismantled. One wonders then why it is going to take 18mths? It's a basic heap leach with a basic processing plant which is already acquired which doesn't seem to square with the Tavsan basic heap leach, which requires new plant and all that goes with it being ready sometime next year.

Re' Tavsan I wish he would lay down in steps now what exactly is required and a timeline shareholders can work to to get it to production. It isn't much to ask for and what is needed as we have been waiting far too long for Tavsan.

I think these open ended wishy washy statements don't help one bit.

soul, from the interview, tavsan feasibility to be completed and development capital financing to be sorted, quote "but in any case we're pressing on with the construction stage now".

i like the sound of that but confess to being confused how they can progress the construction stage without having the development capital.
also, like many here i would like a more definitive target date, ok caveat the hell out of it but give us something.

apliki quotes from the interview
"once we've completed the ipo for venus then its a very short development timeframe"
"the processing plant has been dismantled just has to be reinstalled at apliki"
"we'll be in production 18 month timeframe max"

that seems to have slipped a little from the 12 to 15 months stated recently but perhaps he is building in contingency. in any case pie in the sky until ipo sorted, so for example could be 3 years if it takes another 18 months to get ipo done, unless they decide on a different strategy.
