06/10/2021 16:12 | Think you're being a bit harsh there Soul. | ![]() shortarm
06/10/2021 16:01 | Yep about as enthusiastic as Kerim in his pieces to camera Shortarm. Now I ask myself who is most likely to affect the sp? | ![]() soulsauce
06/10/2021 15:50 | Not surprised people sell after seeing all the enthusiasm here lol | ![]() shortarm
06/10/2021 15:38 | Don't sweat it guys, at this rate you will be able to reinvest your divvy at under 4p Sigh!! | ![]() soulsauce
06/10/2021 15:31 | Bad time to mention the guy I know who just joined PG as CAO went there from Barclays?.... leaves room | kirbs4
06/10/2021 14:16 | Barclays service level agreement with its clients is up to ten days for you to receive funds. I'm gonna get me a new service agreement lol | ![]() shortarm
06/10/2021 14:16 | Had nothing, becoming increasingly annoyed. It's our money, not theirs. Barclays told me it's not them but Computershare who are to blame. Apart from spinning some other rubbish along the way. But I'm starting to feel like we should be further compensated for this absolutely unacceptable situation. | ![]() dixi
06/10/2021 14:09 | I'm assuming other Barclays clients still haven't received their dividends? Are there any other brokers that still haven't paid it? I'm wondering at what point we start to involve the FCA? The RNS of 9th September 2021 clearly stated that dividends would be paid on Friday 24th September 2021. Now either it has been paid to Barclays and somehow there is a problem in their system, or the company lied in the RNS and some other screw up has resulted in the money not being paid to Barclays. Either way it is not acceptable. I had the same e-mail 2 days ago as others from Yellow Jersey stating "We are aware of the issue, which lies with Barclays (as no other broking accounts have had the same problem and other shareholders have now received the funds). The Company is liaising with both Barclays and Computershare to resolve the issue as soon as possible and we will update you with any developments." So far any "liaising" has obviously not solved whatever the problem is. | ![]() zedder
06/10/2021 12:15 | I have been thinking on questions for the upcoming presentation and thought I would pose them here first to refine them if necessary as I am a layman in this stuff. I won't be offended if you tell me they aren't worth asking if the answers are out there already etc. Salinbas, In regards to the exploration plan at Salinbas could you please expand on the plan, e.g are we aiming for a larger resource or higher grade ore in the Salinbas deposit. From the AGM presentation I read that the plan is to develop the Salinbas project to 50,000oz per year over an initial 10 years. What is the timescale on this project now that we have Ozaltin's funding in place to fast track the process. Also what does that mean for the Ardala Porphyry, e.g will this be a separate project mining other base metals? Venus Minerals, "Venus is committed to the development of copper and gold deposits in Cyprus and is actively pursuing opportunities to fast-track production.” Referring to the quote above from the latest assay results RNS how do you see the projects getting into production, would we be looking at an economical heap leach operation, a tailings deal with a company like Jubilee Metals or would the plan be for a larger plant? If any of the above do you have an indication of timescales please? Tavsan, We are about to start a campaign to update the resource of Tavsan, in a presentation from Nov 2019 it is stated that there is a resource target of '300,000oz Au of which 200,000oz Au open-pittable' but it goes on to say on the next page 'JORC Exploration Target shows potential for a further 400,000 oz Au' Can you explain the management target JORC resource from the upcoming programme I believe the current resource is 253,000 oz Au and 723,000 oz Ag (all categories)*. Also if the resource expands considerably would the company look to increase the production target from 30,000 oz per annum? | ![]() lottsgold
06/10/2021 11:46 | the drill results and the cost of drilling are separate issues surely? once they spend $3m (or whatever the agreed figure) they will have achieved 50% buy-in. at least that is my understanding. i dont expect them to announce changes to the buy-in earned on a percentage by percentage basis, i expect less granular reporting, so 37.5% earned means they have to spend another 25% of the agreed amount to get to the 50% ownership, n'est ce pas? | ![]() konil
06/10/2021 11:24 | We assume more drilling but is that what it is? All drilling results this year have been received the same. | ![]() soulsauce
06/10/2021 10:57 | lack lustre market response. they have just confirmed this is a gold/copper system and seemingly no interest. | ![]() konil
06/10/2021 10:53 | i guess more drilling to the tune of 25% of the remaining amount agreed for the buy-in. cannot recall, was that $3m? if so another $750k of drilling? am i missing the point of your question? | ![]() konil
06/10/2021 10:38 | Sounds like a good question for next weekObviously behind the PG one :-) | ![]() d1g3y
06/10/2021 10:06 | True. So we will be at 50% of Venus by end of the year. I would have liked to have known what we need to do to get that remaining 12.5%. | ![]() soulsauce
06/10/2021 10:02 | Agreed Soul, and partners with deep pockets. But also remembering that few explorers ever go on to mine. | ![]() actonovator
06/10/2021 09:48 | actonovator it would make sense for all 3 parties working in Cyprus to consider a shared production unit. All seem to potentially have decent accumulations but are they enough to sustain a stand alone production facility and the initial cost? | ![]() soulsauce
06/10/2021 09:46 | JAF, I know we're in different places and different ages but the bid price is only relevant if you wanna see? Right?Look forward to your high percentage dividend next year :-) | ![]() shortarm
06/10/2021 09:45 | Didn't Polymetal buy a big chunk of CHF which are some time and information behind Venus? | ![]() shortarm
06/10/2021 09:40 | Perhaps just a bit of fluff and nonsense, but this morning's rns also states "and is actively pursuing opportunities to fast-track production." So probably just means identifying easy surface deposits. But I'd be surprised also if they hadnt had approaches from other interested parties already. But too soon for that surely. | ![]() actonovator
06/10/2021 09:39 | Thanks guys. | ![]() bosbus
06/10/2021 09:34 | Bos, Its a while since I last looked at Caerus (CMRS) who have patches in Cyprus but I think these are much better than theirs and CMRS have already attracted the interest of a bigger partner (Jubilee). Plus Venus have the JORC already and has the $100m geo database. | ![]() actonovator
06/10/2021 09:31 | And on that very good news, the bid price managed to stay up for all of 18 minutes this morning. | ![]() jaf1948
06/10/2021 09:29 | Atalaya mine .46% copper with no associated gold and we mine 2g/t gold in Turkey. The best results double and triple those numbers so it's looking good so far. | ![]() shortarm
06/10/2021 09:11 | BB I don't fully understand mining grades. Just how good are the latest results? | ![]() bosbus |
