25/6/2021 20:01 | kaos, aau get a profit distribution from the jv. what aau do with that cash is decided by aau. that is how i see it anyway. | konil
25/6/2021 18:21 | They certainly know my feelings on the matter. If your mad busy it's easy to lose touch with employees on shop floor or indeed shareholders. Point is, if shareholders express concerns and board act on those grievances then it's irrelevant whether they agree as long as they act, which is a plus in my book. | bigglesbingham
25/6/2021 17:25 | Hi bigglesbingham, do you feel that also constitutes an acknowledgement that the communication has not been so great recently? | dixi
25/6/2021 17:10 | Must be the last of the selling surely? | charles clore
25/6/2021 16:38 | I just picked up 176k at close too. Happy days. | renniks2016
25/6/2021 15:17 | Sorry kaos3, my comment was a little vague. What I meant was that the JV cannot dictate AAU's dividend policy. | red imp
25/6/2021 14:30 | konil 24 Jun '21 - 13:52 - 6007 of 6032 0 3 0 kaos, don't know the answer to your questions but as regards divi i would expect that each partner to the jv would be free to set their own divi policy. i may be wrong but its not really something to be decided within the jv as i see it. red imp 24 Jun '21 - 14:20 - 6008 of 6032 0 5 0 AAU own 23.5% of the JV. The JV don't own any of AAU and therefore can't dictate any dividend policy. -------------------- where would the free cash flow for the regular divi come from for the forseable future? - if not from the JV - where they can not get out any divi by their voting EVER - if not regulated by the JV agreement? | kaos3
25/6/2021 14:20 | Must be a forced sell to only accept 4.2p (476356 shares!) | plasybryn
25/6/2021 14:18 | I'm pleased the company listened re communication and I congratulated them for doing so. They acknowledged the thank you which was appreciated. | bigglesbingham
25/6/2021 14:12 | 421k sell at 4.2 on other exchange wtf | bigglesbingham
25/6/2021 13:57 | Nice one biggles! | charles clore

25/6/2021 13:31 | Just topped up, rude not to at these prices. | bonehanmer
25/6/2021 12:59 | Indeed bigglesbingham and since then we have had a load more income and another #2m that is going to be added to the pot. I would be happy with anything between 0.8 and 1p. | soulsauce
25/6/2021 12:54 | If you are reinvesting Biggles, that's going to be a lot of shares you'll be buying. | plasybryn
25/6/2021 11:59 | I'm hoping nearer 1p than 0.7p being touted by share Prophets. Down to tax and costs . They've said half of proceeds less tax and charges. | bigglesbingham
25/6/2021 10:51 | Well not long now till the end of June. Before then we should get the final Court case outcome and drill results from Cyprus. Then we are into Quarter 3 (H2) when the real news flow should start in earnest. Good-bye 4p's hello? | plasybryn
25/6/2021 10:45 | They just need to get it done. No more fuss and farting around. Give me a penny a share special divi and a juicy early / mid-staged project in Slovenia and I'll be happy. | charles clore
25/6/2021 10:04 | actonovator, it makes sense to have a strong cash position for further projects even if those projects are to be partially debt funded, it reduces credit risk for lender and thus increases likelihood of getting loan at better rates. it also increases the attractiveness of the company for investors...once they get proper pr sorted. as for speed of expenditure of jv cash, its better they take their time and invest wisely by identifying good prospects, rather than rush to spray the money around as some managements do. so i'm pleased to see a slowly slowly approach to that. they have enough to be getting on with meantime and i wouldn't be surprised to see a beefing up of the management team / geological team in due course. for example they know the team at wtr and aau are already contributing expertise to wtr. bigger divi? yes, that would be very nice and imo they can do so by utilising some of the cash from operational profits which must have built up nicely since the whole episode has taken so long to complete. even a relatively small amount added to the jv cash will make a tasty addition to an already bumper payout. just a view from the sidelines of course. | konil
25/6/2021 09:57 | acto I am still very much hoping that Kerim & Co have a much nearer term project lined up that will need a chunk of the cash. That is what I took from the text in several RNS earlier in the year and last year. I can't believe that very early stage mish mash of Eastern European projects with such a small investment is what we were supposed to be excited about :-/ | soulsauce
25/6/2021 09:39 | didn't they have the shareholder vote earlier for the jv and aau capial reduction. afaik they do not need another vote for the special divi. anyone able to confirm one way or the other? as regards timing, i'd like to see ex date and pay date announced quickly and near term, its all gone on too long, and aau have had enough time to get things sorted, hope they don't use the covid delay excuse for the payout. | konil
25/6/2021 09:33 | If only half of the £25m or so proceeds are intended to be distributed as dividend, whats happening to the other half - since the Eastern European investment turned out to be small change only? Makes no sense to keep it as cash. Can they at this point increase the size of the dividend? | actonovator
25/6/2021 09:19 | If it's a special dividend then why do they need an AGM/Vote? | carcosa
25/6/2021 09:03 | Nice one, Biggles. | jaf1948
25/6/2021 08:58 | Let's hope it's as big JAF | bigglesbingham |
