The hard facts are that AAU will have a minority interest in its only producing asset with no control over what happens in the future plus some exploration jam tomorrow assets.

The market is valuinf AAU accordingly.

This has been a massive error of judgement by Kerim.

Somebody needs to step up and sort this out. It's clearly not working for investors, however great the prospects currently may be. How long can long-termers realistically wait? I'm growing old watching this one, opportunity is not what it once was.

Well it really isn't bad news is it? AAU appears to still not be attractive enough to investors currently. Money going elsewhere no doubt. The JV has taken so long time has taken its toll. Had this happened in weeks/months after the initial announcement in 2019 I think we would all be considerably wealthier.

Exactly.ItsStillNotSignedFrankly, after 13 months delay, and given the only external rubber stamping required was this competition authority approval, how the hell do we get to this point and they still don't have the internal ducks lined up.This rns, imo, should have been "We finally have the competition authority approval and the JV will be signed today".

Given the significance of the news, the way the RNS was worded was pathetic and amateurish. It updates the informed but does nothing to attract interest or a new audience. VFU - very fed up!

Bit of a non event RNS? Almost like they have lost interest in sharing news and promoting the company? For outsiders who don't know the story it means nothing. AAU need to sell their story better otherwise we will continue to languish on a low share price.

I really won't be surprised, think it's going to take a while to get investors on board the new structure. News flow over the coming months will hopefully build the story and get people excited again. End of year is what matters to me. 12p this year:)

Thank goodness for that. We can move on to a new chapter and this thread can discuss new exciting things. I'm sure the relief amongst the Board is palpable given it's taken so much longer than anyone expected. Well done to them and all those shareholders who patiently held on.A new dawn awaits.

What's the reason it can't be signed immediately? Does that suggest they haven't lined everything up between Oz and Proccea in the meantime? Kerim mentioned something about an outstanding issue with the way the JV is structured in that interview last week.
