Hahaha Jaf - Reminds me of a law I created on a failing government IT project - at anyone point in time the project is always 2 years away from being implemented.

However I feel we are close here so not always extending. 😀

(A JV is a unit of time which has a variable but always extending duration.)

ekuuleus, my point (which contained an erroneous statement and was not well made) was that he would have known jv was delayed, yet he & wife effected a net reduction before market was told of the delay.

in his interview when he said that he had increased his 'personal holding' by c.0.5m shares that was correct in its narrowest sense, but being a decent fellow as i think he is, he did seem uneasy, a sort of bravado that didn't quite ring true.

anyhow, company has got to this strong position due to his efforts over long years so he / his family deserve the rewards. it was clumsily handled and imo hit the share price more than it would have otherwise.

looking forward, the company remains sound, and assuming jv finalises (i assume it will) there will be much cash, some to be distributed as a healthy dividend and many projects on the go providing opportunity for further growth.

painful as it is currently, i'm hanging on and hoping for about turn on the share price

hmmmm, there was a battle at 4p, but it didn't really hang around at 5p. Konil exercising options and selling is far from positive, but throw in the failure to deliver the promised news doesn't bode well.

Sitting on my hands at the moment. Lots of mining stocks spiked last month and are trending downwards with exactly the same timing, so I'm more inclined that it is just market sentiment in general.

The 645k trade was at 9:08 a.m. when the bid / offer prices were still 4.9 /5.0 so it was most likely a sell.

The 645k trade can't possibly be a sell, as there are loads of other trades well below that price.Unless there is a 1.5M buy still to print.

cyber, yup, and he knows what is happening regards progress with jv, just forgot to tell the market before doing his transactions.

edit: his 'increased' holding is a 'decreased' family holding if including his wife's holdings.

i still think he is one of the 'good guys' on aim. will he make another fool of me?

Konil, once he's exercised his options, he owns the shares from 1.55p. Saying that he would have a bigger gain if the share price goes up from 4.5p is as obvious/pointless as saying he would make a smaller gain if it went down. Nothing is guaranteed unless/until he sells them.

if he wants to exercise the remaining 12m options this fall makes it cheaper for him to do so.

i put my faith in continuing progress here and brought other pm holdings in profit to aau. all gone now. more fool me.
