I had very same experience in my fifties. Now mid seventies and no joint replacements yet!
The fan base must be negatively impacted by the current spat in the med. Hopefully that will be sorted soon and share price will fly?

Not gritting my teeth at all, there are clearly well timed sell orders going through in order to sow the seeds of doubt amongest our weaker holders. This strategy, as usual is working. What we are seeing is simply a "rinse and repeat" operation, normal service will be resumed in shortish order once the agreement is finalised and the approval process starts. Thereafter we are in a very different ball game I believe, and further share price progress will depend very much on exploration results. Oh, I for one will be betting these results are hmmmm, quite good actually.

In addition, I would love to get an up to date figure of the cash position for both AAU and the JV. This would most likely also have a positive affect on the share price

1candc and BB - agree. Its a slog but the long term trend is good. We should be substantially higher in my view, and with good Tavsan news prior to JV, we could be at double figures by the end of this month. Optimistic, but not unrealistic.

same old pattern, no news for '10 minutes' so a steady stream of sellers who seem to have no grasp of what they have fleetingly bought into exit the share. The volume in these dips are miniscule yet have a disproportionate effect on the SP, it makes being a AAU long term holder a real grit your teeth and smile place to be invested. I am hopeful that the JV will draw in a far bigger 'fan' base than we currently have.

risa5 - an aside to AAU and I hope nobody criticises for going off topic.

6 months ago I was in the same position, mid 50's, extreme pain in the knees and struggling to walk up and down stairs.

Somebody suggested to me Artron Collagen Joint Care Liquid Supplement. Quite expensive but fantastic. Within 2 weeks I was back running when thought I was going to be hobbling around for the rest of my life. If you hunt around you can often get a 3 for 2 discount. Note has to be Type 1 & 3 collagen and don't mix with other types. Also that it is animal derived so not for the vegi's.

BB right or left knee? I used to do a lot of 10k road running when younger but now both knees painful, they say sport is good for you !
