I'm in agreement with sonoftherock. I invested in a company that didn't appear to lack the ability to make quick and accurate decisions, that may have been because of it's size, the strong family connections and a BOD who seemed to work well together. These delays in agreeing the new JV makes me wonder if we will now have shares in a company who are unable to make those decisions without it going through multiple channels of management, committee reports, outside consultants and years of consideration. I just hope not.

I can do patient, but I have to agree that another delay would be hard to stomach.The prospective new JV partner is supposed to be one that can bring a lot to the table, but I would hope that includes the ability to make decisions. If it is a delay, I'd expect a proper explanation as to what the issue is.Imagine what it could be like if and when they own 53%?

I’ve never known a sector in which you can wait literally one or two generations to get your pay out.

The PM sector must operate on some alternative sort of space time continuum clock thingy...

Without any institutional support AAU are dependent on PI's supporting any JV deal and voting their approval. Some come on Kerim, give us something worth approving please :-)

To be strictly fair they did say that they were going to take until the end of June to evaluate (re-evaluate?), but that might not necessarily mean making an announcement within June. Just a thought...

I just hope that if there is another delay to finalising the new JV we get a little more details and a confirmation of the agreement as it stands at present, together with any parts that still need to be sorted out.

I think the jv happens just taking its time, the partner has spent a lot of time and money on the dd going to quite some length with drilling etc , and during this time the economics have just got better so I don't see why they would not want to proceed.

cssf, newcomer to the pm space, so please explain the meaning of your many references to 'they are holding it back'...how can they (i assume yanks) stop the market taking it where it wants? are you referring to qe infinity, or dumping gold into the market, or what? cheers.

here the second CV19 wave came (Balkans). I am expecting another delay. to many fast moving parts atm for such a deal for each side. lira down, gold up, oil all over the place, geostrategic beyond understanding, gold exports from Turkey controlled ???? (meaning realised POG lower), Kerim in Australia, no financial results yet ..... and the longer they wait .... just imho not wanting to hurt the feelings of the majority

but still a very good value
