15/6/2020 10:17 | Ariana Resources renews operating licence at Ivrindi in Turkey Ariana has built up a track record of successful operations in Turkey Ariana Resources PLC (LON:AAU) has renewed its operating licence on the Ivrindi gold project, which is 100% held by the company and based outside of the Red Rabbit joint venture in Western Turkey. The operational licence has been extended for 10 years, expiring on June 3, 2030, with the possibility for an extension. In addition, a 45 hectare mining permit for gold has been secured on the same terms. "Exploration and development activities at our Ivrindi project were slowed down last year while we went through the process of renewing of our operating licence, which we have now secured successfully for a further 10 years,” Ariana’s managing director Dr Kerim Sener said in a statement. “Prior to this, the company had demonstrated significant upside and had indicated our objective to mine and truck material from Ivrindi to the Kiziltepe processing plant. Accordingly, metallurgical testwork for Ivrindi was completed last year, along with additional trial mining. We currently maintain a stockpile of ore at Ivrindi which is expected to be trucked to Kiziltepe for trial processing in the future. "Meanwhile a 1,500-metre reverse circulation drilling programme is planned to test the full strike length of the mineralised structure at Ivrindi once new forestry permits are secured and we look forward to updating the market on this in due course," he added. 15/6/2020 09:58 | This, imho, is the cup (and I expect there will be a handle too) that will soon take us above 10p. I expect to see a breakout from the current price range within the next 2 weeks. | charles clore
15/6/2020 09:26 | It's fine Plasybryn, gotta to have a laugh sometimes, let's hope your son in law is right | 1candc
15/6/2020 09:17 | Well it is my son in law who works for one of the main French Banks. Perhaps he is Mystic Meg. I agree the wording of my post did sound a bit dubious/frivolous. Perhaps I should have kept that to myself. | plasybryn
15/6/2020 09:15 | I know a bloke who knows Mystic Meg and she says the share price will be £25 next week, time to top up! | 1candc
15/6/2020 09:09 | I've been told by someone else who does a lot of charting analysis that our next big resistance point is 6.3p. He sees the chart as very strong. | plasybryn
15/6/2020 09:02 | At the recent Shareholder online conference I asked Kerim:- Will our other 100% assets at Karakavak, Ivrindi & Kizilcukur all fall within the new J.V. Deal if it goes ahead please? Kerim: The other assets (e.g. Kizilcukur) have also been considered as part of the enlarged JV and have formed apart of the DD by the incoming party (though to a lesser extent understandably). The MoU considers their eventual sale in to the enlarged JV. | plasybryn
15/6/2020 08:22 | Bullish hammer on the chart from Fridays close. AAU will break 5 soon. | oilbuy
15/6/2020 08:18 | Always nice to increase the value of assets outside the Red Rabbit joint venture, especially in light of the Deal/(MoU) negotiations. | plasybryn
15/6/2020 08:16 | The World Gold Council said on Friday its 2020 central bank gold reserves survey showed strong signs of an increase in gold's relevance for central bank reserve management. It said the majority - 88% - had picked "negative interest rates" as relevant to their investment decisions. Gold will be playing a major role going forward. 88%! thats not to be ignored. | renniks2016
15/6/2020 08:09 | No doubt another increase in resource estimates for this one come the end of the year. Every bit helps! | renniks2016
15/6/2020 08:05 | That's quite a sizeable drilling programme planned for Irvindi, gives confidence. | soulsauce

14/6/2020 09:44 | Looking at Venus and the fact that we are committed to 50% earn in. The company, based in Cyprus, applies state-of-the-art research and processing methods and mining in the country for the first time Peter Peter van der Borgh, CEO of Venus Minerals: “The Future of Copper it is brilliantly erased, given its contribution to the creation of green energy, in the development of electric means of transport, and consequently the key role which will play a role in carbon release and climate control change " Based on the long and thriving history of copper mining on the island, Venus Minerals, A leading mining research company based in Cyprus, aims to grow of the energy / mining and mining sector in Cyprus. With new expanded management team, consisting of extremely capable and experienced professionals with significant performance internationally and locally, the company will move forward development of copper and gold resources as well as exploration projects, opening new perspectives for the sector. Specifically, the work is being carried out under the guidance of an experienced Cypriot geologist. The company, headquartered in Nicosia, is implementing state-of-the-art research, mining and energy processing methods, in particular designed to minimize and maximize the impact on the environment performance. It is worth noting that many of the new and innovative technologies applied in Cyprus for the first time. Venus Minerals and its shareholders are active in Cyprus for more than 20 years, during which they have managed to create a huge geo-scientific database, the cost of which, at current market prices, amounts to € 100 million. In this context, the company, which maintains facilities and in Micero, managed to secure research permits in the most promising areas of the island. Adds even more weight to the long term growth potential of AAU. | renniks2016
14/6/2020 08:54 | Interesting comments risa5. I was hoping however you might respond to my questions regarding the chart, or anyone else with charting skills for that matter. I agree about AAZ. Introducing a stated/ clear dividend strategy made a big difference to how they were regarded and no doubt brought in a lot of investors focused on yield. It also underlines how strong the balance sheet is. That time is coming for us as well. The BofD have already discussed it. | plasybryn
13/6/2020 23:01 | Plasybryn, While I wholeheartedly agree with the above post from Biggles, I believe we could be the next AAZ in the making and our chart can be compared to them. AAZ were around 4p about 5 years ago since then they have paid all their debts and have pledged to pay 25% of their free cash flow as dividend and their share price has responded by about 30 times. I believe we are in the very good hands of KS, he cares about the company and he cares about the share price and shareholders. I was very impressed with the timely release of latest RNS on Thursday 11th June, just as the share price was about to decline the previous day, that RNS about 50% increase in Tavsan resource was released the next day and I believe that was not just a coincidence but it was meant to give the price a push if that makes any sense. | risa5
13/6/2020 22:47 | You might be right biggles but I'm not convinced. Kerim plays just cards tight to his chest as we know and wouldn't have had to release anything not in the public domain at the time of the MoU. But since then he has expanded resources and moved more into measured and indicated. But more importantly he is starting to drip feed hints about the Underground project. I wouldn't be surprised if the underground drill results don't cause a bit of a shock. I'm sure that will all be new on the deal table. | plasybryn
13/6/2020 22:41 | Here here BB as you say (conservatively) company has delivered far and above on all counts in as areas. I personally trust KS the bod implicitly and knowing for undervalued the share price is, I’m very confident that we are only going up! ;) | renniks2016
13/6/2020 19:10 | I have thought similar thoughts but in the cold light of day if you analysis the facts Ariana have just done exactly what was predicted when the original deal was done production slightly ahead of anticipated the exploration results as expected by kerim therefore assume as expected by new JV. The only enhancement was gold but it has to be argued the new JV getting involved because of their expectation of higher gold prices. So I'd like a sweetener but I'm not holding my breath. The performance of the company has been excellent and that's why the new partner is interested to develop further. What the last six months has done is derisk the company and shareprice if deal doesn't go through but does imho make the deal a stick on assuming all small print re minority interests is agreed. Who knows? I do know I've made some reasonable calls but contrary to some people's thoughts I derive my opinions from info on the open market and apply logic to that information and my experience as | bigglesbingham
13/6/2020 16:23 | risa5: Are you a chartist? If so what would you say, looking at the longer term chart, is the price we need to hit to confirm a definite break-out. It seems to be 4.2p to me, but I could well be talking rubbish. Its almost like an extended bowl going back to 2011 when the share price was c. 7p. Could that price now be back on the cards in reasonably short order? I suspect a positive DEAL announcement could push us that high. Any thoughts? | plasybryn
13/6/2020 14:58 | They may now want to retain cash in Zenit in order to reduce the size of the next bank loan. The interest rate on which is unlikely to be below 6% and could be nearer 10%. I suspect that is what I might do, but I don't know all the facts. | thanksamillion
13/6/2020 14:57 | Very patient, It will probably go up or down, time will tell. Just wait and you will be rewarded. | alwaysswitch |
