I am waiting for clarification on certain points but the really nice thing here is the share price is undervalued whichever route is adopted. I too am 55 and been adding for 8 years. Pan Gordon think it's an exceptional deal I believe . I do believe if the deal goes ahead institutions will get involved and skys limit on price.

Am in my 50s and have seen too often jam tomorrow that never arrives. I would still like to see an immediate cash return.

Plus a smaller share of potentially larger upside.

New partner and their ability To operate at scale is therefore important.

The alternative is a cash return based on RR growing into Tavsan. And so on. Salinbas in slower time or developed separately.

"what does everyone think about the new partner and are we getting a good deal"

I think it depends on your time scale, I'm in my 70s so after nearly 10 years adding to this share I would like to see a return, if there is not going to be a reasonable divi, no new JV and all profits ploughed back into the development of Salinbas I will reduce my holding and spend some of the capital gain. I think for older holders like me the new JV will be welcome if it means a reasonable divi, something at or above .3p.
I would imagine those with a longer time frame would be quite happy for the company to carry on with the development of Salinbas on it's own or with just Proccea as a partner but in that case I think it will be another 10 years before this share would reach a realistic value.
BUT... we have yet to get the full details of the JV agreement.

Apart from the upfront cash and comfort of financing other projects, the question is whether our share as a whole in the new partnership is going to get smaller or, is it going to get bigger as part of a bigger pie.

Also which option will increase share price in a quicker timeframe given that they are aiming to be one of the biggest producers in the area.

============

Impression I have is the majority on this BB, including some very big holders of 10+ millions of shares are generally in favour, and see the cash in hand plus help with Salinbas, out weighing the reduction in our ownership from 50% to 23.5%.

A minority, including myself, think future visable profits from owning 50% could be better long term for shareholders.

Most sensibly want to see the details to confirm or alter their view.

Well I suppose PoG could also fall at some point in the future. It's a multi-year agreement, so I expect this has already been projected and taken into account.
