Chart seems to be suggesting 4p as the new base line, previously it was 2p.

Anyone for 8p next?

I'm not sure on this as I may be missing something. But what are the new JV bringing to the party for half of the mineral assets, was it written anywhere?
Surely they won't get this for free, so it maybe their payment is to provide the processing plant, AAU may well partake in the IPO so our 25% of the asset may not get too diluted.

I guess you have accept that it will be 50:50 until IPO. That will then doubtless change. But 50:50 prior to IPO is better than, say, 20:80 etc. The IPO gives a tangible value to AAU's holding, whatever % it becomes.

buying back what you are selling in the same moment - that makes lot of sense .... lol

it just sounded funny - but a relevant thought

I know what you mean

Will Venus be raising money at IPO? If so, will we take part, or what will our 50% become? Someone asked them if we'd be selling any, and there was a lot of waffle which seemed to mean "no", but will they be buying any?

"Venus Minerals to pursue a stock exchange listing ....." Has anyone got a view what our 50% is likely to be worth? Nice asset sitting on our Balance Sheet.

renniks - it really does not matter much regarding Cyprus - in both ventures they are or will be 50:50

and they will dilute it somehow in IPO -

so end result bellow 50 % -

only by how much?

and as lots of capital is needed I just said 25 % to get juices flowing ;)

Not sure if I'm missing something, or just viewing things differently regarding Cyprus .
My take on it is the 50:50 JV with Hellenic Copper Mines, is only to develop and run the proposed Apliki mine, not a JV for the entire business, but I could be wrong, will be interesting to see the details which will emerge in November no doubt.Either way it will mean the fast track to revenue as far as this area is concerned. Happy days, and great presentation I thought.

to sum it up where we are (Kerims pyramid) ;

- 23 % of Turkey - producing and great production reliability - huge development investments needed for the steep growth realization - so low free cash flow to AAU which needs operating money itself

- 50 % of Cyprus to be diluted in IPO into 23 % or something - production start in 24 ?? months, free cash flow - eg divi to AAU - years away
- Asgard
- Kosovo
- superb team that can be "sold" to its investments and more !
- some cash to be played with (1-2 years before gone)

now - that above is rough start of describing the present situation as I see it and needs lots of correcting and fine tuning

a very good job by the team - regarding resources they had, good prospects ....

Hmmm. Not convinced on the close price. Weren't any trades at 4.3 or even 4.2 (unless delayed). But I reckon it was decent news today. Missed my top up price.

Biggles,

Thank you. If I were 20 years younger I would be holding many multiples of what I now have but there comes a time when you have to realistic.

I liked the RNS. Venus/Cyprus is an area I wanted to see AAU target more of it's cash pile and it looks like Venus have the right partner that appears quite nimble and eager with the knowledge already ingrained in them.

Venus's copper/gold mine looks a very good poker to have in the fire and together with Salinbas and Tasvan, eventually they all should become decent money spinners.

That said I'm not expecting much fireworks from any of them just yet, except possibly Salinbas, but still, I decided to round back up to 400k with a 164k purchase.

They also say it's outperformed since divi. The point here is the blue sky opportunity is a possibility whereas old miners don't tend to have that I would suggest. You did right thing for your circumstances JAF and you should be commended for that. Everyone should do what's right for them.

That's the most informative, all encompassing and open presentation they've given that I've seen. They have obviously listened to shareholders. MDV played his role very well.

In the answer to Q1, it states: 'Recent moves in our share price have not broken this relationship – it is clear we largely rise and fall with the market.'

If that is the case, why bother to invest in a minnow like Ariana and instead invest in a larger company where there is little risk and the same rewards ?

Today's presentation and Q&As made me glad to be a shareholder but equally glad that I reduced my holding to a more suitable level for me.

Whilst today's news has not had much effect on the shareprice or the sellers for me it's a massive comfort to think in 2 years we'll be:Multi jurisdiction Multi mine Multi commodity

To be honest I'd rather a broker note a month out of date than the current 18 months so that answer ain't his best.
