Maybe they should think about different legal advisers. I've seen this capital reorganisation twice before in prep to pay divs and this is taking far too long. Pretty poor form all round.

I agree Paul. Covid in Turkey has nothing to do with it. We are talking about U.K. courts and U.K. lawyers.Preparation work must have been possible imo.

Did they have to wait until the new JV was finalised before starting the capital reorganisation? I would have thought some/most of the legal work could have started sooner but I'm not a lawyer.

This is the telling bit for me- "The Company is close to completing the submissions required by the court process."Close to - Should have been done ages ago. There is nothing unusual or difficult about a capital reorganisation. It happens all the time. Do we blame the Chairman?Anyway my message is just get in with it and announce the dates ASAP.

i'm guessing as this is probably the first time they (or their lawerys) are going through this particular process, the courts are throwing requirements at them as the process unfolds which they then need to comply with.

as frustrated as everyone but give 'em a chance.

Well they've only known for 18 months that this process was going to be necessary. Either they work at snails pace or dare I say are a tad incompetent on the Corporate front. Easy to blame the Courts when you haven't even submitted the correct documents. Doubt we will ever know who is reasonable.
