Yes 5huu that is just telling us what we are getting from the deal but we will already have plenty in the bank from the divvys paid to us by Zenit over last years production so I think it would be fair to say the company will probably have a total of nearer 30m once the money is transferred.

Partially disagree. What tends to happen is that there is a corresponding drop in share price to the value of the cash being paid as divi. So in that respect you are correct. However, with the majority of dividend paying shares (whether income plays or scrip dividends) the company share price tends to recover in the coming days. So it wouldn't surprise me to see an initial drop followed by a recovery. All in all, will result in a decent return for shareholders IMV

What the divi does do is further de-risk holders positions here. As we are left with the same number of shares going forward, but with our investment offset/reduced.If the future is as bright as it appears, then this is a little gift from the bod, with which we can choose to increase our position (like biggles has mentioned), or invest elsewhere, or put away for a rainy day.

Distributing cash does not 'reward' shareholders. Shareholders already own the cash - its in the share price. Whatever amount they 'give away' will instantly be reflected in a commensurate drop is the share price. Its a zero sum game.

Surely you want to be investing in a company that can do something that adds shareholder value with funds rather than just handing the money back.

Normally when a dividend is announced it states a date on which you must be holding the shares. I think it is almost never that a date has been retrospectively announced.

What’s the deadline for the divi, if you sell today do you loose the divi, if you buy today are you entitled to it ?

There were plenty of people waiting for the opportunity to dump some shares on the small immediate rise it seems. Hopefully out of the way now and clears the way for another rise from here once the news is absorbed by the wider audience.

So we are invested in a company of £50m market cap (after the rise this morning). With £25 m in bank. £8 m free exploration in salinbas with already 1.5m ounces gold, doubling capacity at kiziltepe underway, tarsvan 30k ounces to come into operation with 2 years and 50% Venus minerals which already has more advanced sites and actual resource than CHF (who are currently valued £15m). Sounds pretty good to me with new ventures to concentrate on with Procea and ozaltin taking main operational Reins at kizeltepe and salinbas ( which the have always done) sounds good to me. If the seller continues it shows they have no interest in the fundamentals and are selling for their own cash requirements (will be some small trading). So pretty dam good position to be in if you ask me. And we are derisked if Turkey ever wanted to reduce foreign owenersgip of Turkish assets as we are sub 25%. Nice

Good to see the JV finally completed, we knew it would but the wait for the news has caused some structural damage to the share price and lost us a lot of interest which caused the decline in the momentum. Now with a dividend to look forward to and hints of news coming up near term we should be able to build back on the earlier levels of share price but will the new punters have the patience to hold, patience is in short supply and I don't forsee a solid rise into this news doing anything but plateauing as sells crowd in on any up tick. New news on new projects is what is needed, the JV completion is rather old hat news that's been baked in for ages.
Onwards and upwards but not like a rocket.

Always been about fundamentals for me. Yesterday I was happier than I was in the companies future than I was when the share price was 6.3p so was adding and added yesterday. Today I'm happier with the fundamentals than I was yesterday! It's the only way to view this stock because I believe that's the way the board views the stock. Now with these solid foundations to kick on from I look forward to them getting the message out and quickly.
