17/2/2021 07:52 | It more a finally than a well done from me. The snail pace of it all has undoubtably left people cautious about returning to this ultra slow burner. I'd love to see but I'm highly doubtful we will see 7p for a while. Bookmark this comment though and if it happens before June you can pelt me with rotten fruit. | gaddy88
17/2/2021 07:47 | Excellent. Thinks can really kick on from here as this should really release the brakes. Might pick up a few more if we don't spike early doors. Very happy with this conclusion and as has been mentioned below, the share price is out of sync with the actual value of the company | ![]() pauliewonder

17/2/2021 07:33 | The share price will depend purely on how well this news gets spread into the market. We wait and see. | ![]() jaf1948

17/2/2021 07:31 | Someone break out a rendition of Etta James At Last 😄. Seriously though excellent news. Great to finally get it over the line and lots of clues in there as to what may be coming. | ![]() soulsauce
17/2/2021 07:27 | Rather obviously, it's all down to buys and sells now. During the JV negotiations that's been the focus and so the profile of AAU has slipped. If you look on Twitter, nobody mentions AAU compared to the likes of GGP, ORR, AAZ, CHF etc. So we need profile to be raised. But equally, existing holders aren't going to be selling now. A slow and steady rise punctuated by news is I suspect what most of us want. | ![]() donald pond
17/2/2021 07:25 | Woo hoo! We can finally move on, think it may take us a while to get going but surely investors will see this as a great opportunity now. | ![]() lottsgold

16/2/2021 21:31 | Come off itJAF. In post 3760 you mention Kerim’s failure in public relations and letting things drift. Is not 2 key management skills communication and decision making? In another post you say the company will probably succeed despite the BOD, not because of it. I wouldn’t expect him to do everything- indeed it would be worrying if he was, but effective delegation is another key skill. | pharmoutcomeszzz
16/2/2021 20:21 | pharm, I am not finding fault with Kerim's management skills. He has done a good job up to now and has negotiated what I deem to be a good JV. However, he is either not interest in, or can't be bothered with, PR which is fair enough - there were always bits of my various jobs that I liked more than others. But as CEO, he can instruct others to do these things - I wouldn't expect him to do everything himself. | ![]() jaf1948
16/2/2021 19:59 | We can all find fault with Kerim’s management skills over the last year, but being stuck in Australia and therefore not geographically in the thick of the action is out of his hands. The current restrictions on movement in and out of Australia are probably just about the most severe in the world. He does not qualify for any of the 6 exemptions. He is probably as frustrated as anyone. Besides, I can’t help feeling that in this modern era and with modern technology, those wishing him to be insitu are just clutching at a comfort blanket. | pharmoutcomeszzz
16/2/2021 19:33 | 8rad, Please remember that I don't know any of the BoD so these are purely my own thoughts. I think Ariana is financially safe and knows what it wants to do. For the past year, it has been restricted by the needs of completing the JV and of course Covid and KS being stuck in Australia so it was never going to be a dynamic year. During such times, the strengths that Ariana have are drowned by its (self-induced) weakness, i.e. its appalling or even non-existent public relations. Thus with no new good news to spread around, a black hole of nothingness has been the main story and hence the despondency of many long term holders and the lack of many new holders. On the positive side, when the JV is finally completed (probably in the next millennium but hopefully sooner), the new mark 2 Ariana will emerge and be even stronger and more profitable than before. That's why I'm still here and bought more yesterday, but I must admit the waiting is not enjoyable. | ![]() jaf1948 |
