I have no idea why people just believe stuff on boards.

One thing you see quite a bit is that someone has made a life-changing amount of money. I assume there aren't many nurses on here, so that must be say over £100,000, although that isn't properly life changing really nowadays.

At the same time you're told they're an expert investor in some way.

So here's the thing...

To make that amount on say a 10 bagger, you'd need £10,000.
If the person is an expert, then there should also have been £10,000 in at least 10 other businesses and if in AIM then probably 15+ as 'insurance'.
So that's £150,000 of money just in the stock market.

For an expert investor that will be a fraction of their wealth. There will be bonds, funds, deposits etc.

So how the heck can the amount made on one share be life-changing ?
Unless it was pure luck and not expertise at work at all.
Just admit to a lucky punt.

Thanks I would be shocked to see 27k now and I will put my neck on the line and so no way over the next few weeks The movement of the dollar and 10 year for me give a good a guide as anything

The 27.5k figure comes from two chart possibilities; a 35% drop from 42k (as per the trajectory in 2017) and the 'normal', 'bc' bear phase of an Elliot Wave bull pattern.

While the 27.5k still may still happen, the bounce off $30k is welcome and suggests c$50k and c$60k respectively.

The strength/weakness and volume is in the trading not the holding.When we change to holding strength we will hit new ATH levels and stay there.At the moment its all over the place.ARB looking more and more safe by the day

Think at some point in Jan BTC has to see a move through the $39k barrier nico given the selling being soaked up in the $30ks and continued demand for BTC by some big players IMO.....i continue to think the supply / demand imbalance will continue to thread it higher, not necessarily in a straight line tho!

I personally think $BTC is too high for institutional buying.Will be watching for another retrace. The swings are now becoming more violent and unfortunately with that comes ATH liquidations.ARB just need to keep the machine working 24/7 and watch the money rolling in.All good

A rather pleasant bonus to wake up to see BTC at $38,000. A nice consolidation around these levels will do for now.

Prices held up well overnight.Money pouring into DeFi and $BTC futures $12.2B(USDT 24h).$BTC spot dropped below $4B(USDT 24hr).Should see a nice rise today

I bought really high because it took ages for my Trading212 order to go through... Placed at 42p, got in at peak haha.
